Wonderful stay surrounded by nature

Pros: Comfortable cabin in a beautiful garden, away from busy La Fortuna. Ideal if you have a car and like to spend peaceful mornings and evenings surrounded by nature. Saw plenty of birds like toucans, guacamayas and hummingbirds while there. The owner is also a very friendly person who likes to chat and provide great suggestions for places to go. If I ever return to the La Fortuna area, I would definitely stay there again. Hot shower, clean bathroom and comfy bed as well.

Cons: The adjacent cabins share a patio, so, depending on who your neighbors are, it could be an issue (it was not in my case). Not enough storage for clothing in my opinion.

Pros: Large clean room with good, hot shower. Breakfast was generous and delicious. Secure location with parking behind electric gates. The swimming pool is large and very clean.

Cons: It wasn't close to any restaurants so we had to drive. There was confusion regarding the price (the site listed the cost for one person instead of the usual two) so was more expensive than expected - but, to be fair anywhere near La Fortuna is way overpriced.

Pros: Great place for families with kids. We even got invited to the dinner with Juan - the owner of the property, and his wonderful wife and friends. Plus we also got a free excursion in the sorrounding garden where Juan grows mangos, avocados, blackberries and meny other fruits. Absolutely recommend.

A 5 star gem

Pros: Absolutely beautiful property. The room , the pool and the outdoor kitchen. The dogs and the family.

Cons: It rains a lot in la fortuna.

Excellent stay

Pros: The owner's hospitality and great service. Breakfast is amazing. Beds and pillows are comfortable. Rooms fitting family of 5.

Our room fit our family of five. Breakfast was a fresh, delicious, and custom-made to each person’s preferences. The large pool is beautifully maintained and perfect for relaxing. Overall a warm and welcoming experience

Un lugar hermoso lleno de paz y tranquilidad

Pros: La cordialidad y excelente atención por parte de los propietarios, don Carlos y doña Monserrat. Personas muy amables y agradables, nos hicieron sentir muy cómodos y la estancia en este lugar fue muy amena. Las instalaciones muy limpias y ordenadas, al igual que la habitación y el rancho, cuentan con todas las comodidades necesarias para pasar unas lindas vacaciones en familia en este hermoso lugar. Nos vinimos encantados y muy entusiasmados en volver pronto.

Juan Carlos is wonderful and we will stay here again!

Pros: Breakfast was not available after all, which was frustrating since we planned on that. We used our dedicated outdoor kitchen however and it was well stocked for us to cook quick breakfasts. It had everything we needed!

Cons: We were confused by the photos so we thought there was a separate room for our friend traveling with us. There was not so we were all in one room (3 adults and two kids) which was not ideal. It felt cramped.
