Hostel Dodero

Pros: Stayed here 4 years ago, came back this time with two friends. Same excellent facilities, vibe and staff.

Would definitely stay again!!

Pros: Great little place so close to the bus station + supermarket 1 block away. A bit of noise from the road as we had a front room, this wasn’t too much of a problem though. Well equipped clean kitchen.

Cons: Had to pay extra for towels even though we had a private room.

Cons: The hostel location is by the road with busy traffic.. it doesn't matter that is the part of the day the noise coming constantly through the windows. There's no a/c.

Pros: It is a very affordable hostel conveniently located near the bus station. The staff was helpful in giving instructions on further travel, excursions and connecting travellers that were crossing the border the next day.

Cons: Nothing, we always stay in this hostel when travelling in and out of Liberia

I really liked it there.

Pros: I just loved the vibe there. The people who stayed there too were great and the top manager was awesome. The price to stay there is just so good. My bed was so comfortable. The outdoor kitchen was nice! Thank You!

Cons: The toilet did teeter totter a bit, but it was ok.

Cozy hostel close to bus terminal

Pros: Compact hostel, less than 5 minutes walk from main border bus station and also same to large supermarket. Lovely staff, good English spoken, continually kept clean. Secure key pad front gate and own key to room. Excellent wifi/internet/network throughout. Small kitchen area, 2 ring gas hob, fridge/freezer, juicer, toaster, microwave. Plenty of covered, outside eating areas. Book swap. Plenty of local information available and staff offer plenty of help. Generally quiet. Moderately sized bedroom. Limited storage. 2 chairs. Bedside table and lamp. Bin. Large, flat screen TV with Netflix. Warm, but with air-conditioning.

Cons: Cash only (but dollars and/or Colones). No rooms with private bathroom, (2 toilets to share, one with cold shower and another separate hot shower). No visible signs of recycling. Poor lighting in room and ceiling leaked during (daily) heavy rain (this was mentioned to the hostel so hopefully will soon be fixed). No hooks for hanging clothes. Quiet hours of 11pm to 6pm need to be extended (especially in the morning).

Pros: It's a nice place especially if you wanna take a early morning bus. The bus station just a few steps away and you have restaurants and shops all around. It's a nice Hostel

excellent value for money

Pros: 10/10 stay. friendly staff, quiet room. best sleep I've had in 2 months. AND free oats and coffee with milk on a morning, what more could you ask for?!

Pros: The bed were confortable. Nice backyard. I liked the outside kitchen.

Cons: My room was right by the street so if you're a light sleeper you might have a hard time sleeping with the motorcycles noise.
