Perfectly located and excellent value for money

Pros: The property has direct access to the beach which is amazing. It was generally pretty clean which is hard to achieve for a busy hostel, and the staff were really nice. Clean showers with great temperature and pressure too. I also did a surfing lesson for the first time and really enjoyed it! Totally worth it, would recommend.

Cons: Reception only took cash which isn’t ideal. Also it’s discouraged to flush paper down the toilet because of the plumbing (not ideal but fairly common for beachside places and I imagine other places in Santa Teresa are the same) - I’d suggest to the property to install bidets if possible to improve the experience there.

Fantastic

Pros: I stayed there for two weeks and absolutely loved it. The accommodation was super comfortable, clean and had everything I needed. Perfect location and great staff. Beautiful surroundings.

Pros: This is my favourite hostel in Santa Teresa, great if you're a surfer as right on the beach.

Pros: Staff really nice and helpful. Beautiful gardens & surroundings. A lot of wildlife. Yoga deck and classes. Huge sitting and kitchen area. By the beach. Nice individual storage space.

Cons: Mixed dormitory with bunk beds with no curtains or individual light. A panel in the room with no curtains, meaning outdoor lights and morning sunlight flashing in the face. Not enough toilets or showers. It wasn't the most social hostel that I have been. It felt a bit far out along the main road.

Awesome stay

Pros: I really enjoyed my stay at Zeneidas! Even though it was rainy season that only added a particular charm to the lush surroundings. The beachfront location is perfect for surfing, beach strolls and stunning sunsets. The quarters are spacious and daily housekeeping keeps everything spotless. The staff are exceptionally welcoming, friendly and attentive to any requests. They organized my private yoga sessions, arranged tours to Montezuma, gave me tips on learning surfing and guided me around the area. There's a great sandbar right in front that makes it perfect for learning to surf - so convenient! Thank you for the wonderful stay.

Perfect stay in a stunning location

Pros: I stayed twice in two weekends because I realized after my first trip that I left my phone there. The staff was very nice and helped me recover my phone, a great thank you to all of them. In my first stay I took a private house with a king size bed: it was really awesome. Huge bed, fantastic house, hot shower, patio, no more than 20 meters from the beach. Could not ask for any better. The second stay I chose a room shared with 2 other people and the room is spacious enough, you do have storage for your things, the beds are extremely comfortable, there is hot water in the showers, the common area are enjoyable and open, perfect to stay if it rains or to wind down. Functioning big kitchen, lots of refrigerators. 10/10

Pros: My experience at Zeneida has been amazing. The people super welcoming, my room was really large and comfy, cleaning every day. I met amazing people and we were right in front of an amazing beach! Loved it, so grateful! There was also a beautiful yoga place!

Pros: Great place right at the beach. We stayed in the van and especially enjoyed the private garden area. It's close to restaurants and a great cafe.

Great modern hostel close to beach

Pros: Modern hostel in a great location with social areas and two kitchens. Reception staff were great. Beach is literally 2 minutes away, with main high street access and close to restaurants. Mixed 6 bed dorm was a good size, clean sheets every day and can rent bath towels.

Cons: Was in 6 bed dorm and would be good to have curtains on bed to make a bit more private (I had bottom bunk and managed to use my sheet). Shower only had cold water More hanging space for wet clothes Not hostels faulty, more people, but lots of dirty washing up left about which is kinda gross (was NY so busy). Did see cleaners in the morning in communal space
