Wonderful stay in Monteverde

Pros: Wonderful stay with exceptional customer service. The room was perfect and very comfortable, the shared kitchen very well equipped and super clean. Lots of recommendations and help booking for activities and tours and the location is great! Would definitely recommend and come again :)

A place with character

Pros: We really liked our stay here. The host was lovely, very helpful and welcoming. The kitchen facilities were immaculate and well stocked. The room was clean, comfortable and the shower was good. Nice to have off-street parking and we were close to the main town area. Close enough to walk. The weather wasn't great when we were there so the wind rattled the windows but we really enjoyed our stay. Great name for the place as well.

Good value for money, 5-10 walking distance to town

Pros: Very good value for money. The room itself is very basic, but at least it does not cost much and it's clean. Staff is nice and helpful and replied quickly to my questions. Kitchen is also clean and modern.

Cons: Room was bit cold and there's no heater. Luckily there were some blankets to keep me warm during windy night. Also it's not located in town centre, but 5-10 minutes walk away. It's doable distance of course, but for some reason I thought it to be closer. Not any place to hang the clothes, wall hooks or anything. I wouldn't recommend booking shuttles from them. They are collaborating with a company with quite mediocre reviews. My shuttle was badly late and I missed my slot in the nature park. Hostel just said that it's not their fault - it's not fully, but as they are the one offering the service, they are responsible for that.

Cozy beautiful place, felt like home

Pros: It was cozy, clean, with all the amentities! Kitchen is big and well furnished

Pros: Comfortable, cool, first rate staff in terms of professionalism, friendliness and warmth Clean, relaxed, and enjoyable Its called a hostel, but only in the sense that there is shared kitchen facilities. This is absolutely exceptional value and a first rate experience.

Cons: No issues on a 3 day stay, but I would say storage space is not abundant

Pros: Cowboy Hostel was exactly what we were looking for! The location was perfect, we could get around town on foot easily. The facilities were simple, but very clean, and we had everything we needed. We were backpacking and cooking our meals, and the kitchen/dining room was perfect. Staff are very kind too! Definitely recommend.

Perfect stay for an amazing price

Pros: Amazing value for money! Our room was very clean and comfortable, the shared kitchen and eating space is amazing and the lady at reception was so nice and helpful. Can highly recommend! The noise as some other comments mentioned weren’t an issue at all.

Great place for mountain adventures

Pros: Great value for money. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Some nice sodas close by and town centre is a short walk away. They can also help you with all the tours and transportation. Both the room and communal kitchen were spacious and clean.

Cons: Only thing was that the walls are very thin and bring a warm pyjama for the nights, because it does get cold in the windy mountains and the blankets are a bit thin.

Pros: -friendly staff -parking lot -clean -good location

Cons: It’s a bit noisy, especially when motorcycles pass by, but there’s nothing the host can do about it
