Pros: The quietness and how close it was to the beach which was very clean. Well kept gardens. The size of the bungalow.

Cons: The water in the shower was not hot. For us the beds were quite hard. We also found the prices of the restaurant to be quite high.

Stunning place to stay by the pacific

Pros: Stayed 3 nights at Alma del Pacifico and it was such a beautiful place to start our stay in Costa Rica. The location was stunning with our room facing onto the pacific. The staff were friendly and attentive and we were grateful for their help for an issue that came up on our trip. The food in the restaurant was exceptional. We rented a car and drove from San Jose . We explored Manual Antonio park which is around a 45 minute drive away but the kids were happy just to spend a day exploring the hotel grounds and swimming in the two swimming pools. Would highly recommend.

Our third stay at this beautiful hotel. Fantastic

Pros: The beautiful colourful design makes us so happy. The staff is incredibly kind and always smiling. We love the restaurant too.

Cons: The only thing not perfect is that much of the outdoor furniture is very run down and sometimes broken.

Pros: The room was excellent, plenty of space for a family to stay.

Cons: The breakfast was bland compared to other meals we had in Costa Rica. More American than Costa Rican.

lovely but not much to do locally except enjoy hotel

Pros: This place is absolutely beautiful! The whole setting is gorgeous, the rooms are amazing with their own lovely garden, really original and artistically decorated. Food was also good.

Cons: You are a bit stranded there - we thought we would be able to get local taxis around locally but there are none, unless called from nearest town which would end up costing minimum of 50 dollars to go anywhere. So unless you can walk you can't get anywhere. We would have been happy to walk to some places but risk or tropical downpour is high and long way to either part of Esterillos

Beautiful hotel direct by the beach!

Pros: Beautiful hotel with great comfort direct by the beach, the beach was beautiful as well as the rooms and the pool. We recommend this hotel!

Cons: The lounger and the chairs by the pool and beach were at bit old and in my opinion they should be changed to keep the high standard and comfort!
