Montelaguna Boutique Hotel

Very relaxing holiday

Pros: Friendly staff always happy to help and very clean hotel in lovely surroundings

Pros: -everything was ok; -the staff was attentive and supportive; -quite good breakfast;

Cons: -the location is near the main road so can be noisy from 6 am till 9–10 am. -i requested a quiet room but they gave us a room right near the street;

Great quality hotel in good location

Pros: Good quality hotel in quiet location and walking distance from quiet beaches. Staff were very friendly.

Cons: Really liked the property but would expect a more extensive breakfast in a hotel of this quality. The fruit juice wasn’t fresh and there could have been additional buffet fruit selection

It’s a small resort but a lot of bang for your buck.

Pros: The hotel restaurant was fantastic and the atmosphere felt like a very calm retreat. The staff went above and beyond and made us feel like family. The beach is only a 5 minute walk from the hotel and the trail had beautiful trees and monkeys along the way. The loft was roomy, very clean, and the beds were extremely comfortable. It’s a fantastic hidden gem.

Cons: No complaints! We loved everything about Hotel Montelaguna and will definitely come back.

Costa Rica vacation

Pros: We were made welcome upon arrival and the reception staff and management were always available for advice and bookings. Friendly and attentive restaurant staff. Room was cleaned daily and the bed was very comfortable. Location was excellent, private balcony to observe and hear wildlife. Walking distance to 2 beaches and a 5 minute drive into town. The lovely pool area provided a relaxing environment after time at the beach. Good breakfast each day and the chef cooked a delicious dinner for us using a couple of tuna we caught on a fishing trip.The cleaning staff were friendly and very efficient. We had a great stay and would like to return.

Excellent in all respects

Pros: Excellent hotel, friendly and professional staff, great facilities, excellent food, thank you to all the staff for a great stay.

Pros: Big rooms, very nice pool area, super friendly and helpful staff. The beautiful Carillo Beach is only a 10mins walk away

Cons: If you stay a few days, it is good to have a car.

Samara trip

Pros: The people working were fantastic. Breakfast was healthy and fresh each morning. Great pool and a hotel away from the hustle and bustle of Samara.

Cons: Wifi was spotty and didnt work for me the entire time. No stove for cooking in room even though it had a Kitchen. No stove or microwave.

Pros: The beach is only 10 minutes walk, but there isn't any bar or restaurant. Very natural, beautifull, quiet beach.

Cons: If you wanna go to the town you need a car or taxi.

Pros: L’emplacement, situé tout près de playa Samara et playa carillo.
