Pros: Good price/quality ratio. Breakfast has only 2 options which are very similar but for the current price it’s totally ok.

Cons: Old facilities in bathroom.

Easy Last Night

Pros: We came back to this hotel and it was great. They held our bags, checked us in a little later and were able to check us out early. I liked the double room better than the balcony room even if it was smaller. We had to leave early and didnt get breakfast but it was great previously.

Cons: Our second stay was brief but great!

Great Location and Excellent Staff

Pros: The location was great, its a cute neighbourhood, about 15min/30min walk from the major museums and downtown core. The room was basic but was clean and quiet. The place felt very safe. Staff were absolutely wonderful! We were promptly checked in, breakfast available if we wanted it (also the breakfast was great!) and the little restaurant area was super cute, and they were able to hold our luggage for a small fee. When we did have a slight issue with the shower the staff was prompt in making sure that we could get it fixed. Plus they have a cute hotel cat (not allowed in the rooms) which was a bonus!

Cons: The mattresses were a little firm, we appreciated the extra blankets since it was a little cold, but there was a slight issue with the shower instructions not immediately available. You cant increase the water to much and you have to wait some time for the hot water. We noticed this was only an issue in our first room, not the second so not sure if it is a hotel wide. The staff member on duty was very helpful and it was clear they checked the shower the next day.

Amazing budget accommodation

Pros: Perfect location with free parking + great breakfast

Cons: Bed was a little uncomfortable, but to be expected as it is great value.

Pros: The room was avarage. A bit dirty in the bathroom upon arrival such as spiderweb in the ceiling and plastic residues from previous guests. Large bathroom though but low on warm water Amazing service at breakfast..

Cons: low water flow when showering. It stopped at sometimes when covered in soap.

Good, family-style pension-like environment, with clean oldish rooms, excellent location

Pros: very good location, very clean, within 15 min walk of central san jose, far enough from crowded streets, several restaurants within 2 block range, good wifi, friendly staff, good regional breakfast. very close to major museums and downtown attractions. this is more of a nice pension-like accommodation, so do not expect hotel frills. For instance, front desk personnel also serve breakfast. excellent cost/benefit as compared to similar ones closer to downtown.

Cons: they lock you in after hours (or out), so have to phone front desk to be let out or in. I had a tour at 4 40AM and, from the lobby, had to phone front desk - the person appeared immediately, but this gave me a scare. no restaurant in hotel (though lots of them close by). basic infra, though spacious and quiet room. very thin toilet paper.

Pros: Large room and bathroom. Convenient for part of San Jose that we were visiting. Nice breakfast.

Cons: Room smelled of smoke from previous occupant.
