Pros: Loved the view, and the staff were excellent. Rooms good, a little tired but worked well and was comfortable.

Pros: Excellent breakfast, beautiful pool with exceptional view, nice rooms we actually stayed in two, great staff! Very nice beach club and great transfer to the beach. Only great experience! Will stay again!

Breathtaking view

Pros: Hotel with a great view. Access to the beach club was a great addition to our stay. Very cool infinity pool

Cons: The rooms already show the time passing and the breakfast could be more diverse.

Beautiful hotel with amazing staff. Nothing is too much trouble

Pros: Beautiful setting with stunning views. Staff are all amazing and nothing is too much trouble. Room was very comfortable and clean. Pool is fantastic and I loved seeing all the spectacular wildlife while swimming in the pool. Free shuttle bus to town works well and loved the beach club you have free access to use there.

Wonderful, but Exploited

Pros: The location looks just like the pictures absolutely beautiful. I loved the views and the pool was the perfect temperature.

Cons: I wanted to get a load of laundry done. They charged me $250, I have never been soo taken advantage of. When I raised my concerns, because Iwasn't warned before hand, they offered 30% off. The resources to washed the clothes did not even come close to what they charged. I felt exploited.

Breathtaking view

Pros: The whole hotel is stunning. The rooms and swimming pool have breathtaking views. Although they couldn't accommodate a late check-out, they kindly allowed me to use the spa shower before departing.

Cons: The breakfast was very poor. For the first time, I had a breakfast with no cheese or chocolate to mix with milk.

Cons: While the housekeeping seems to be doing a good job, the linen, duvet, pillows and curtains could def do with a deep clean - especially the pillows - are well overdue to be replaced. Breakfast buffet was only average compared to other hotels on Costa Rica. While this was the .ost expensive hotel stay during my time in Costa Rica, it was for sure not the best (/cleanest) hotel

An all round great experience!

Pros: Absolutelyyyy loved it here, stunning. Stunning sea view room, stunning view of the sea and gardens from the pool. Very friendly and helpful staff, great on-site shop. Tasty breakfast with music in the morning which gives everything a nice vibe. Nice live music on some of the evenings. Great shuttle service that’s included in the hotel package! It takes you to Tamarindo town and the local beach which is sooo convenient!

Lovely pool, great staff, watch out for the jurassic locusts 🤣😅

Pros: 1. I loved the selection at the buffet breakfast. 2. Loved the pool area. 3. Loved the nice big terrace - shame I was put off using it much because of ..... see my dislikes. 4. Loved that the hotel has a shuttle into town, and that if the shuttle is full they make an unscheduled trip so no one gets stuck. 5. The staff were brilliant. A big shout to David and his colleagues in the restaurant and bar, the staff in reception, housekeeping and the drivers. They all were the bees' knees 😁

Cons: The giant locusts! They're flippin' huge and were especially mobile at night. They are harmless and seem to be attracted to light rather than humans specifically, but if you're scared of creepy crawlies, think twice before staying at the Wyndham. There was no drinks menu. Not a huge deal but it must drive the staff even crazier than it did our party - having to go through the same drill everyday, especially having to check the price before every order. The ambient music. It would have been great to hear different music from what we hear on the radio at home. Not enough cover from the sun at poolside. There were only 5 umbrellas and a mad rush every day by guests wanting to secure the beds in those spots.
