Old school hotel, faded grandeur.

Pros: Very easy to access the town from hotel. Staff very friendly. Breakfast very nice and plentiful. Lots of secure parking. Beautiful view from terrace.

Cons: Room tired and needs remodeling. Bed against the wall made it hard to get in and out.

We loved our week. It is so nice to e right across the road from the beach.

Pros: The pool and new lounge chairs are very nice. The upstairs lounge is lovely as well. We love Eric, the surfing instructor. My hubby met him a few years ago and had a lesson. He is awesome!!! The girls at the bar and Buffett are so sweet! Very caring and attentive.

Cons: The beds need to be turned around. The large board should be at the end of the bed for your suit case. The breakfast buffet needs to be changed up a little. One day add pancakes, the next day waffles, French toast, and maybe omelets one day. The loud music on the Friday night is a little EXTREME! So loud! Maybe after 12… turn it down a notch?? And maybe turn off at 1:30. A happy medium for the older folks and the younger folks.

Pros: We got a room with a view of the ocean, it was really cool. Room was clean and modern. Breakfast was pretty much the same every day but we liked it. Pool was huge and deep, kids enjoyed it.

Cons: There's some renovation going on but that didn't bothered us.

Pros: Loved my stay!! Bed.was divine. Breakfast was giant and left me stuffed. Beach was across the street. Would stay again!!

Pros: We spent a wonderful week at Best Western in Costa Rica with friends. The ocean-view pool was amazing, and the breakfast was always tasty. The staff were super friendly — a special thanks to Itzel, who was always smiling and happy to help! The beach is very close, and we learned to surf there. We could even borrow surfboards from the hotel for free, which was a big plus. We also enjoyed a fun pool party over the weekend. For the price, this hotel is a great deal. We were very satisfied and highly recommend it!

Cons: The breakfast food could have been warmer. It would have been nice if the items changed up a bit more.

Pros: The beakfast was amazing and all of the staff was very welcoming, friendly and helpful. I love the pool and places where you can sit to sit around that area of th hotel. The bar is aslo amazing and serves amazing cocktails at great prices with th 2 for 1 option specific drink for each day of the week,

Cons: I found the price was very expensive even if the hotel is great and contains many things such as a bar, pool, gym and restaurant. I understand that normallly prices are higher especially at busy times where the demand is greater such as Christmas vacation and March break. However, I still don't agree with the extremely higher increase in prices during periods where the need to reserve a place to stay is more popular. Furthermore, I was a bit disappointed that I paid $150 more the first night I stayed on the hotel when I booked the room in person compared to the second night when I booked on a website like bookings.com or hotels. com, I also didn't understand why I paid around $60 more when I checked in at the hotel than the price indicated on the website when I made the reservation.
