We enjoyed our stay of one night as we travelled in area. Great food! Slept well, Quiet and cozy.

Pros: The staff were lovely, Amalia was lovely, We were very comfortable with beds, pillows. Clean. Awesome view from restaurant on property and a nice trail for a walk. Got the cabin in the woods feel with extra comfort

Fairytale

Pros: This such a hidden gem! The farm is absolutely beautiful and came as a surprise. This was our first stop out of San Jose and I really recommend it. We visited Poas, Catarata del Toro and the Blue Falls before checking in for the night at a lovely cottage. The owner is just lovely and so friendly. We had dinner at the restaurant at the farm - delicious and fresh! We slept like babies in the super comfy bed and in the morning we enjoyed drinking coffee grown at the farm whilst watching hummingbirds feed. The breakfast was delicious and in a beautiful setting with the view of the valley. Absolutely magical.

Loved everything about this property!!

Pros: Lovely casitas approximately one and a half hours north of SJO. Great stop if you want to break up your drive , after arriving from SJO. Hiking trails right on the property, so could enjoy some outdoor time same day as arriving from flight. Must pre-book dinner at on-site restaurant. Fireplace in unit, and extra blanket available , if needed. Breakfast included in price. Went for a 4km horseback ride through property grounds after breakfast (pre-book). Amalia and staff are kind and accommodating . Cute and friendly dogs to greet you (little one more bark than bite ;). LGBT friendly !

Cons: Everything was wonderful.

Pros: La ubicación hermosa, todo rodeado de naturaleza! Las instalaciones muy limpias y acogedoras. Un tesoro escondido, cerca de San José. Es una distancia corta para disfrutar un fin de semana relajante y de conexión con la naturaleza.

Wer es einfach und gemütlich liebt, der ist hier richtig.

Pros: Sauberkeit, Freundlichkeit, Aussicht, Gemütlichkeit, gut eingerichtete Küchenzeile. Das gute Frühstück, je nach individuellen Wünschen.

Cons: Das Wasser in der Dusche war nur lauwarm. Der Wasserdruck fehlt.

Einfache, hübsche Unterkunft mit netten Gastgebern.

Pros: Das Häuschen ist sehr schön in der Natur gelegen, einfach eingerichtet und hat alles, was man braucht. Die Rancho bietet eigene Wanderwege. Die Besitzer sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Man kann kochen, sollte jedoch alles an Gewürzen usw. mitbringen. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten gibt es im 10 Minuten entfernten Zarcero, auch Bank und Restaurants. Das eigene Restaurant hat nicht immer geöffnet. Wir haben sehr gut dort gegessen, waren vollkommen alleine. Das Frühstück war landestypisch, mit Gallo Pinto, Rührei und leckerem Käse. Mit dem Auto kann man direkt vors Haus fahren und hat dort eine wunderbare Aussicht mit tollen Sonnenuntergängen.

Cons: Das Haus kann nur mir dem Kamin beheizt werden, entsprechend riecht es nach Rauch. Holz ist vorhanden. Wir wollten nicht Feuer machen und es war im Haus entsprechend recht kalt am Abend. Man sieht die Strasse vom Haus aus nicht, man hört jedoch Trucks und Motorräder recht gut, sie ist stark befahren. Trotzdem würden wir das Haus weiter empfehlen.
