Pros: Beautiful place, the host was super nice! There was a pool, hot shower, the bed was Comfortable

Cons: The entrance is a bit rocky for a car if you do not have a 4x4

Relaxed!

Pros: Andre was amazing to keep in contact with. The property was large and beautiful. The rooms were just what you needed. There are only a few rooms off a shared common space and it has a fridge which was a nice touch

Pros: Close proximity to river which was nice to cool off in. Great common area out back to sit and relax and meet new people. Close to some great restaurant options and tour companies. Owner was very friendly.

Cons: Rooms get very hot during the day, best to leave the door open once you get back to the room to let it cool off a bit.

Great location, great value!

Pros: I'm a budget solo traveler and the value for the money is excellent (I was given a large room for the same price as a smaller one and was pleasantly surprised by the size and amenities). The room was quite clean although it's always difficult to keep floors clean in dry season here because of wind and dust. Bugs weren't an issue (insects are part of everyday life here, so if you're squeamish don't visit CR!). The property has nice communal spaces as well. There's a beautiful river nearby to swim in and I highly recommend the La Leona waterfall tour! Lastly, the owner was really nice and very helpful.

Cons: The fridge needed a good cleaning and there were only extremely bright ceiling lights. But I knew this from other reviews so I brought a portable light (I love my Luminaid!).

LIFE IN THE SLOW LANE !!!

Pros: Amazing place and space. Quiet, clean, freindly, beautful environment. They made us a breackfast for 4000 colones each. WE WOULD LOVE TO COME BACK HERE AGAIN

Cons: Everything Hot water showers, clean beds, big rooms, quiet space , good lighting. GREAT OUTSIDE SPACES

Great stopover for the waterfalls!

Pros: It was a quick stopover for the waterfalls. The room was spotless, and the bed was super comfortable. A couple of restaurants within walking distance . Basic but clean and comfortable and excellent value for money!

Pros: Great location to visit the Rincon de la Vieja park and La Leona Waterfall. Very close drive from Liberia. We stayed for 2 nights to hike in the park. The lodge has a very nice garden area. They were accommodating about a late night check in. The room was clean with hot water in the shower. This is quite a basic type of accommodation which is what we expected.

Cons: It was a bit hot to sleep without AC but there is a ceiling fan.
