Buena Vista del Rincón Eco Adventure Park Hotel & Spa

Cannot recommend this place highly enough!

Pros: This was by far our favourite place in Costa Rica. They have everything you could want all on site - zip lining, horse riding, hot springs, waterfalls - and much quieter than the usual tourist hot-spots. Staff were super friendly and helpful, food excellent and good value. Our room was quiet and comfortable- perfect for watching all of the wildlife that roam around the grounds. And the view from the restaurant is stunning!

Pros: So much to do and all within the lodge - the staff members are amazing people like Noel, Moises, Roy, Arturo, Carlos, Victor and Bismarck made our stay one to treasure for ever. Jose David as well as the cafe, pottery, trapiche and the zip lining staff together with William the cowboy are all to be commended. Thank you so much - el mirador and the spa were the best.

A great place for both adventure and to relax.

Pros: This place was absolutely amazing. All the staff were so lovely. The view was great, there were so many amazing animals around, and breakfast was so tasty.

Pros: Great location, the view from the mirador restaurant was amazing. We had the luck to observe monkeys and toucans while enjoying the thermal baths. Wonderful experience!!

Pros: Beautiful location Our day tour with José David (horseback riding, zipline, cultural tour, water slide) was fantastic, great value for money Rooms were very clean and comfortable

Cons: Not easy to reach, accommodation is sometimes a bit dated...

Pros: Excursions were great! Especially the hot springs. The food was very good. The scenery and location were incredible!

Cons: The pool was lacking. The hot tub was not operational. The bar and food option at the pool did not exist as advertised.

Pros: I loved the gardens surrounding the property, the horses roaming and the gorgeous view. I also loved the options of things to do with children, farm and hot springs! The room was great and the beds were comfortable.

Cons: The service and food at the sunset restaurant was not very good, although it had a beautiful view. Better for drinks and sunset.

Pros: The variety of activities on the property is amazing. Suprprise was size of the surrounding land with trails you can spend hours walking and number of animals to observe. Squirrel monkeys, toucans, motmots etc. We went to the hot springs, hanging bridges and, of course mirador bar and restaurant. Not only reception staff is nice and helpfull. Cheap next day laundry.

Cons: You can hear everything from the next room. The cabinas could use some improvement especially when it comes to this. There is not much where to eat despite the announced number of restaurants. In reality, if you are travelling in couple, you have only 2 options where to have dinner.

Pros: The thermal baths location and setup is wonderful and better than what it looks in the photos! Definitely worth going and it's included.

Pros: Wonderful location. Great breakfast. Dinner at Jaguar and Mirador but very good. Comfortable rooms. The abundance of bird and wildlife was fantastic!

Cons: We felt a map that showed the hiking trails would be valuable.
