Cabañas Cañas Castilla

Pros: An absolutely stunning location beside a beautiful river and beneath huge trees. We even sighted monkeys near our cabin and could hear them at night. Agi is a marvellous host, who arranged a fantastic kayak tour for us in a neighbouring area. It was wonderful for us to enjoy a quiet stay away from the tourist bustle. The room was clean and comfortable and the meals were delicious and healthy. I would highly recommend this stay!

Heaven

Pros: We loved it. Outstanding views, surrounded by nature. Trails, a river, sloths,... The cabins are large, clean, with air conditioning, fans, refrigerator, coffee maker,... and a private terrace. Delicious and cozy breakfasts and dinners. The work and care behind this project is impressive👍❤️ PS: My husband would like the recipe for the cucumber salad, he can't stop talking about the delicious sauce😍

Cons: The toilet pipe was making noise. We turned off the tap, an easy fix🤷‍♀️👍

Incredible comfort and amazing chalet

Pros: I loved everything. I stated during booking that we (spouse and I ) wanted somewhere quiet. Aggie, the owner, is so incredibly hospitable. I love the nature trail and at night, open you're windows and you have white noise. It has been amazing. We will definitely be back.

Brilliant time at the Cabanas!

Pros: It was absolutely brilliant, we loved everything about it. The hosts couldn't have been better. Agi and Guido were so helpful and welcoming. Location was excellent. Very generous with the dinners, offering second portions. Really would reccomend to anyone!

A comfortable stay with great food and a friendly staff team.

Pros: Lovely location, fantastic food and a very friendly welcome.

Cons: They have three very well-marked trails but it would help if they gave you an idea of how difficult they are how long you should allow to complete each one.

wonderful cabins in the nature

Pros: The little cabins are really amazing in a really rural area but not too far from the next city. You can see monkeys and sloths in the trees right in front of your cabin. The owners are really nice and marked some hikes starting from the accommodation. The breakfast is really delicious with homemade yoghurt. I would definitely return when I am again in Costa Rica.

A real Costa Rican experience

Pros: The setting is the star here. Beautiful woodland area with a river running through it. Agi and Guido are amazing hosts and nothing is too much trouble. Agi arranged for a guide (Hernán) to meet us in Parque Santa Rosa, and we had a wonderful walk with him spotting all kinds of creatures. Also, Playa Rajada (40 minutes drive) recommended by Guido really is the best beach in the area. Breakfasts were delicious too. We were sad to leave!

Amazing stay

Pros: Really friendly owners, accomodation is in an amazing location with walks straight from the accommodation. Breakfast was super and definitely worth getting it, kept us going all day. Would definitely stay again.
