Great budget hotel with lovely gardens and great staff

Pros: The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The gardens are beautiful and attract lots of beautiful birds and wildlife. The property has walking trails in the trees. It is away from the busy and noisy main roads of Sarapiqui. The breakfast is very tasty. There's a coffee maker in the room The grounds are well maintained

Cons: When using the shower there is kind of a 'knack' or a trick for getting hot water. If you turn the tap fully, the water will come out luke warm. To get hot water you have to turn the tap just a little bit. My husband figured this out on day two of our stay. It would be lovely if there were a fridge in the room / communal fridge to keep food.

A tranquil hideout!

Pros: A gorgeous setting, beautiful grounds full of wildlife - great welcome, helpful team, lovely food - just perfect!

Cons: Nothing.

Fantastic location and wonderful staff

Pros: Best thing was the wonderful staff, friendly and helpful, also pointing out nature points. We had dinner at the hotel and it was excellent, as were the juices. We enjoyed the trails around the property and the pool.

Cons: Bed was very small and need new pillows

Beautiful setting

Pros: Hotel is set in beautiful gardens which attract lots of birds. Also saw howler monkeys in the trees between the hotel and the neighbouring river. The staff were wonderful and food was very good.

Cons: Bathroom was so small that sink had to go in the bedroom.

Peaceful and beautiful grounds… would go back

Pros: Beautiful property and lovely staff.. Claudia was very helpful as was her brother Uriel and the other staff.. Chavis and Esteban. Delicious dinners as well

Beautiful location, great value and lovely staff.

Pros: The grounds are beautiful. We enjoyed walking the trails. The staff were all lovely, very helpful and kind. The organized some tours for us, which were all wonderful. The room was very large, air conditioning and the fan worked well. The restaurant was good but closes early.

Cons: There were some ants in the bathroom, but they didn’t migrate to the main bedroom.

Great grounds!

Pros: The pool area was beautiful. The breakfast was good. The grounds were beautiful. We had lunch and at first it seemed expensive but there plates were full of delicious food and worth the money! We had an enjoyable stay.

Cons: I don't recall it having a fridge which would have been great. It would be good if a bit more info was available about the trails, for staff to know where the sloths were being spotted etc.

Good place to stay

Pros: Good place to stay. Rooms are good but the shower was little bit on the old side. But thats the only thing. The rest is good.

Pros: Clean, great staff, the surrounding environment is beautiful. There are plenty of birds and you can also go on walking trails. The breakfast is really good.
