Cedrela Beach Villas

A well appointed new villa well located to launch on nearby actitivities.

Pros: Exceptionally well equipped kitchen, super clean, parking available, short walk to the beach, walking distance to supermarkets,

Cons: Need to have a car or use uber to access restaurants in the town.

Perfect!

Pros: The location was excellent, less than 5 mi utes from the beach. The villa was spotless and very new with every convenience we needed. As an architect I found the design very uplifting. Good views of the hills and fields. Very comfortable bed and air conditioning.

Cons: To show how perfect it was, the only comment I can think of is that the cutting knives could be sharpened. Uplifting

Pros: Proximity to the beach, amenities provided, cleanliness and responsiveness of the host.

one of our favourite places to stay in Costa Rica (we stayed in 7 different)

Pros: - perfect location, just 2 minutes walking to the beach. (one of our favourite beach in CR) - completely new house, modern, well equipped - very clean and comfortable - a lot of animals on the terrace - birds, butterflies, frogs (but we also saw one snake, just outside, so mind your steps at night) - no insects or mosquitoes inside - very easy self check-in - free and safe parking

Cons: - sound isolation is not perfect. you can hear the trucks from the main road at night (which is few kms from the villa, but they are very noisy); but you can also hear the birds and monkeys in the room, which is a plus :-D - first night we had problems with electricity, and we couldn't leave the property due to problem with the automatic gate. but after a call to the owner we could solve it.

Pros: Great location to a beautiful national park beach.

Pros: This is a new villa, very spacious and clean, and 100 metres away from the beach. I've only missed having coffee, but other than that, it's been amazing! I would definitely recommend staying at Cedrela Beach Villas if you come to Uvita.

Comfortabel huisje vlakbij het heerlijke strand

Pros: Heel schoon en modern huisje op steenworp afstand van het (betaalde) strand, waar een hele relaxte sfeer heerst. Het bed slaapt heerlijk en er zijn genoeg faciliteiten voor een comfortabel verblijf.

Cons: Ondanks dat het heel comfortabel was, waren er ook dingen waar we niet zo tevreden mee waren. Zo is de verlichting heel kil. Als je ‘s avonds in het huisje zit kun je niet een knus lichtje aanzetten. Behalve bij de bedden. ‘S morgens heel vroeg rond 2 uur beginnen er al hanen te kraaien bij de buren. Ook hoor je regelmatig honden blaffen. Wij sliepen met oordoppen, dus hadden er niet veel hinder van. Maar oordoppen zijn wel echt een aanrader!

We enjoyed our stay and would recommend to others. Enjoy Uvita and the beautiful beach!

Pros: The unit was very nice and clean. The location was fabulous - about a 1/2 block from the beach. The owner was responsive and accommodating. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend.

Cons: Light on the supplies - only 2 bath towels and 1 hand towel for a 3 night stay. Extra towels were provided upon request. There were no paper towels at all or extra garbage bags besides the originals lining the small garbage cans. Beach towels would have been nice as well.

New, clean property, great location for easy beach access and Uvita activities

Pros: Clean, bright, cheery place with comfortable bed (we had the 1 bedroom villa). Great to take easy, 3-minute walk to beach to see the sunset. ($12 beach entry fee from 7 am - 6 pm, as of January 2026, but no need to find or pay for parking, given the property location). Very easy walk to restaurants and large grocery store. We enjoyed morning snorkeling at low tide at the Whale Tail, as well as the waterfall slide/swim at Uvita Waterfall (7 minute drive, $4ish entry). We were careful to leave our food in the fridge or sealed up, as the owner instructed, and we saw no bugs at all in the unit (but we did have a gecko visitor one day, who was cute and harmless). We had a remote for the driveway gate, so there was secure, easy access.

Cons: This is totally beyond the owners' control, and it's part of the charming rural ambience of Uvita, but potential guests should be prepared for the 4:30 am rooster alarm clock. We also would have appreciated having a few more things in the unit (e.g., coffee/tea/sugar, and a broom since it was difficult for us not to bring at least a little sand in with us).

Super Appartement nah zum Nationalpark Marino Ballena

Pros: Schönes Ferienappartement, alles da was man braucht. Lage zum Strand sehr gut. Bei 4 Nächten wurde uns angeboten einmal die Duschhandtücher zu tauschen.
