Casa bohio surf

Pros: The host, Sebastian, was one of the nicest I‘ve ever met! Very kind, very hepful, very good English as well. The location of Casa Bohio is perfect! Will be back :)

Super place

Pros: This hostel is very close to the beach and it has a relaxed a friendly atmosphere. Seb is a very thoughtful and accommodating host and the dog beto is always happy to accompany you to the beach. The house is very well maintained and very clean. We had a wonderful stay. And the price of the room is really inexpensive for what it offers. I recommend it 300%.

Wonderful welcome and budget friendly

Pros: This is a backpackers hostel not a hotel - make sure you are ok with this before you book. We have both stayed in many backpackers' hostels in our time so we knew what to expect, and Casa Bohio Surf definitely exceeded those expectations. It has a wonderfully welcoming atmosphere and Sebastian, the owner, is FAB. He will give you all the info you need to have a great time in Jacò. The private bedroom was basic but clean and comfortable. I slept really well in my single bed but my partner (a big guy) found his mattress quite uncomfortable. You can feel those springs! Make sure you have ear plugs as the hostel is very and the street can be noisy. Having said that, the other residents were super quiet and respectful during our stay. Very chilled atmosphere. I highly recommend this place provided you manage your expectations. I would happily return.

Cons: Top tip - when you're on the ground, literally feet on street, look out for Hotel de Haan, not Casa Bohio Surf. It was a bit tricky to find.

Pros: Sebastian is such an amazing host. He makes you feel so welcome and will go out of his way to help you. Property is right by the beach and main street Hostel has such a good vibe

Pros: I stayed there for a week, and by the end i didn't want to leave! You can tell it's an incredible hostel, because people still come to hang out there even after their time is up! Also, it male me feel super comfortable and relaxed!

Amazing. Comfortable and safe, incredibly good vibes.

Pros: I have lived in many hostels, traveling latin America and Europe. This one is by far the best. The location near the beach, the way everything is decorated here, the care from the owner and the overall vibe is truly something impressive. I was very happy to spend time here, meeting great people, chilling with the sweetest, most loving doggie who lives here, and most importantly I felt safe and comfortable here. I recommend it a 100%, it's a definite 10 out of 10.

Friendly hostel near the main street and the beach!

Pros: The owner Sebastiain is really cool! He helps you with your questions. Beto the dog is amazing, if you give him attention and love, he'll follow you to the beach!! The rooms are clean. The location is great!

Cons: When I went, they didn't have the possibility to put a locket on my locker, but I could keep my things in Sebastian's room. So it was okay. Plus it felt really safe.

A home away from home

Pros: Loved the staff! It felt like I was staying with a family. Nice lounge area, with plenty of comfy seats.
