Nice first stay!

Pros: Close to the airport, room was clean and staff was very friendly!

Cons: We arranged a pickup at the airport beforehand, but apparantly something went wrong and no shuttle was arranged. We called and they immediately arranged a new pickup, so in the end everything worked out fine.

Pros: Nice that it isnt a big chain. Nice setting. Nice people Showers have hot water!

Cons: Only negative is there is some road and airplane noise but expected in sjo

Very comfortable stay in a hotel with very helpful staff

Pros: This is a great little hotel. The staff are super helpful, and the airport pick-up and drop-off are excellent. The room is very comfortable. We ate dinner, which was very good. Highly recommend.

Pros: Are initial flight was cancelled and the hotel was very accommodating in changing the date. We also needed to leave the next morning before 7am and the arranged breakfast early for us.

Wonderful family run business, lovely staff.

Pros: Immaculate gardens with lots of wildlife, excellent attentive and welcoming staff. Great location.

Cons: The airport is close by and we did get used to the take off and landing.

A nice hotel that's ideally placed for the airport

Pros: Firstly, the hotel is ideally situated for the airport, which was our reason for staying. The rooms are comfortable and well-appointed, and there's private, secure parking. The rooms are set in spacious grounds and there's a fruit feeding station set up near the restaurant. The bird feeder was visited by several species of Tanager while we were having breakfast. Given the hotel's proximity to the airport, you can obviously hear aircraft approaching and departing. In addition, you can hear the big trucks and boy-racers on the main road to the front of the hotel, but that comes with being in the city. I should say that we were not disturbed by either of these things whilst in our room.

A perfect short stay

Pros: An oasis of calm in San Jose - we had a wonderful stay as a stop over (the owners kindly offer a shuttle from the airport) before exploring CR. Beautiful surroundings including a pool with a great breakfast. Beds were comfortable and everything was clean.
