Relaxing hotel in tropical park next to the airport

Pros: Very nice family-run structure in a fantastic tropical park, at very little distance from the airport. Good restaurant in the structure and a lovely little pool. It was a relaxing stay of one night to get an my flight the next day and it felt like a little holiday-not the normal impersonal airport hotel. I will definitely come back. Thank you to the Trapp family

Safe, convenient and friendly!

Pros: The hosts and the staff are SUPER HELPFUL and very friendly. There is a resident cat (reception assistant) - super sweet and a total added bonus. VERY VERY nice and safe place to stay - TOTALLY RECOMMEND!!!

Easy first night with small kids.

Pros: Great first stop off from the flight with young kids. Took an orange taxi from the airport and it was less than 10mins drive. Husband collected the hire car easily the next morning while we swam in the pool.

Cons: We liked the breakfast but could have eaten double!

Great place to start or end holiday in CR!

Pros: Lovely place, big rooms, refreshing pool, close to airport (5 min), very helpful and friendly staff. Good food. Only 8 rooms, so happy to get to be here for 2 nights before leaving Costa Rica,

Cons: Musquitos and planes, no a/c. Didn't bother us, but could be annoying. Paid 20 dollar for taxi from airport. That was way too much! (Staff made sure we only had to pay 10 dollar going from hotel to airport)

Ok for airport stopover

Pros: Old country house with lovely established garden and pool near to Airport. Ok for 1 night.

Cons: Limited menu and the hotel wasn’t near to any restaurants you could walk to. No choice at breakfast even though we paid for it on top of our room cost.

Pros: Its very close to the airport. The beds are comfortable, it also has a nice pool and the garden is very beautiful. The staff is very nice, we had a late check in at 11:30pm.

Cons: If you are a light sleeper, it could get loud at night from the airplanes, however, for us it wasn’t a problem:)

Good airport hotel

Pros: The rooms and beds were big, and the pool area was nice. There was a small lounge near dining area where people watched the Super Bowl. Nice to have a restaurant on site. The staff were kind in booking us a cab to go to airport for an early morning flight. The lovely big trees around were great. And it was a distance off the main road so less noisy except for the jets.

Cons: Our bedside light didn’t work. The restaurant menu was very limited and meat based.

This little hotel is a complete gem. It is exactly as in the pictures .Wonderful first night in CR.

Pros: This little hotel is a complete gem. It is exactly as in the pictures .Wonderful first night in CR. A traditional building with lovely veranda under the trees. It is 600m (yes 600m) from the AVIS car rental office at airport but not under flight path so minimal noise. The garden is so beautiful, the rooms, restaurant and pool are simple but ample and clean. Staff helpful. Good directions for getting west/north . Already booked to return.

Cons: More fresh fruit with breakfast .....can't think of anything else
