Highlight of our Costa Rica trip

Pros: A total highlight of our trip, such a special place! Our cabin & balcony were wonderful, there’s plenty to explore on and around the farm, the farm tour and night tour were fab. It’s such a beautiful space, and all the rooms and facilities fit the setting. We enjoyed just sitting by the lovely bar (great drinks) and of course the pool and hot tub were great. Lovely breakfast too. Plenty to enjoy even when it’s raining.

Cons: I thought ordering off the menu was worth it at dinner - I wasn’t as much of a fan of the buffet.

Being one with nature

Pros: It is a bit hard to get to but that why it is so authentic. We have the bungalow deluxe and everything was perfect, the staffs, room and everything else. They have trails and nice activities around the location as well.

Pros: Beautiful location with ground kept in immaculate condition. It is remote in the forest so car is handy when staying there. Property offers a lot of different activities on site and La Fortuna is around 30min by car with hanging bridges, volcano hikes, thermal baths etc. We have attended night forest walk on site and it was great experience. Definitely recommend. Restaurant offers locally sourced menu what was a bonus. We enjoyed our time there and would be back if visiting area again

Nice stay, quiet area and good breakfast

Pros: Breakfast was good, many options and good quality. The location was also good, very quiet at night which is great. You wake up to the sounds of the birds and monkeys.

Cons: The refilling of breakfast items was a bit slow. Maybe offering free body lotion, and other personal care items would be nice. It's quite pricey, but everything in the area is expensive...

Pros: Exceptional surroundings. We saw more birds by ourselves here, than on guided tours. Don’t miss the birds being fed at the feeding station at 6.15am. We spent 3 hours on the trails - thoroughly recommended. Facilities good, free coffee available with view over area where we saw monkeys, squirrels and birds. Very comfy room.

Cons: Breakfast was disappointing for a hotel of this standard.

Best hotel ever

Pros: Absolutely everything. The welcoming was amazing. We booked by mistake a day before and we could change the date without paying more. Then we received an upgraded room. The view to the lake is breathtaking. Also the warm pool was a hit.

Gorgeous place

Pros: This is a beautiful place and you can spend a week without leaving the property. The facilities were superb (pool, vegetable garden, yoga, bird watching...), the food was fantastic and all the staff seemed happy and cheerful. We saw a lot of wildlife and explored the grounds during the day and at night.

Cons: If you are planning to be out and about exploring other things it is a little far away but really you have everything you need at the accommodation.
