Pros: It was a nice place to stay if you are looking for a peaceful accommodation away from the crowd. This place is located in a secluded area but which was near to the town( ~4 to 6 km ).

Fabulous facilities and huge rooms in stunning surroundings

Pros: We loved the size of our log cabin, it was spacious and comfortable with great facilities including a mini kitchen which was so handy being able to make breakfast everyday. The beds were comfy, we had a huge balcony that was sheltered so you could sit out in the rain, it was nice having separate rooms as our boys could sleep and we woke earlier and could spend time in the living area.

Cons: Sometimes the showers were cold

Pros: Convenient for La Fortuna and Arenal without being in the thick of it. Well appointed cabin with everything you could need. Best pillows I have had all trip - makes a difference!

Cons: Shower needs just the right turn to be hot enough.

Dream stay

Pros: The owner was very nice, friendly and helpful. He gave us many tips and ideas of what to do in the area. The place itself was very dreamy and peaceful

Pros: We had a truly wonderful stay here. The location is peaceful and beautifully situated right by the water — the perfect place to relax, unwind, and enjoy nature. The surroundings offer plenty of great activities, and it’s an ideal spot for anyone looking for both tranquility and things to explore. The hosts were incredibly warm, welcoming, and kind. From the moment we arrived, we felt completely at home and well taken care of. The whole place has such a positive, comfortable atmosphere. We can wholeheartedly recommend this stay to anyone. Thank you for such a lovely experience — we would love to come back!

4 nights stay - pure Costa Rica

Pros: Very nice place. We spent a good time here. It is in a good location in La Fortuna. If you have a car, everything is really close. We loved the local animals - cat, dogs and the duck. Our big friends and loves, they came to us every day 😃 Cottage was well equiped, we had a kitchen so there was no problem to prepare a meal. Thank you

Cons: When it rains it can be really noisy because of the roof made from metal plate. Shower could be little bit warmer. Also be ready to encounter some insects and bugs - but hey, you are in Costa Rica so we could make it without worries. Also the bedroom was a bit stinky. It smelled like cat piss. But not very intensive.

Cute and private

Pros: Very cute houses built on a river. Definitely a recommendation when you want to stay in a private place in touristy Arenal. We enjoyed our time there a lot.

Good place to stay

Pros: Nice place with everything you need, all facilities is good and work nice. Just a lots of mosquitoes outside and too close to road; so it was a little noisy

Pros: Location was lovely, the environment as well, hosts were super kind and helpful.

Cons: Cabin was comfortable, but it let a lot of sounds in - not just crickets, birds, etc., but unfortunately also trucks that were driving through the nearest road.

Lovely host, good value

Pros: Such a cute little cabin with lovely big windows to take in the forest. Loved sitting eating breakfast on the verandah and getting visits from the owner's friendly dog and cat! Good wifi, Netflix, etc. Attentive host, good communication and recommendations.

Cons: These electric showers take a bit of getting used to - not much water pressure and not really hot. And it rained heavily overnight which was very loud on the roof - bring earplugs in case of that.
