Pros: Beautiful location, room surrounded by trees. All staff were incredibly friendly and helpful and restaurant was fantastic. Had dinner and breakfast there everyday, food and service 5 star.

Cons: Some things need a bit if an update like the towels

Beautiful stay in gorgeous surroundings!

Pros: Absolutely beautiful surroundings - the photos really don’t do it justice. Amazing to be able to do a 30-40 min hike in the property. Property felt intimate and well designed. Breakfast was massive and really tasty! Lots of options. We ate dinner there 4 nights and really enjoyed the ‘casados’ (local dish) - really big portions. The staff are SO friendly. Diego took us on a lovely tour of the property on arrival, and Alejandro greeted us like old friends. I had a fabulous massage!

Cons: There was quite a strong sulphur smell in the bathroom from a nearby septic tank but it was well confined to that room. I wouldn’t say I disliked it because I knew in advance - but it is worth saying the property is a 30min drive from La Fortuna. For us, that was worth it as the hotel was so lovely, but important to note!

Pros: Beautiful property! Only there for 1 night but we had a fantastic experience. We did the night walk tour with Victor and got to see amazing wildlife. It was a highlight of the trip for my kids. Also saw a mama and baby sloth on the property. The grounds are stunning. Restaurant was really good too. We loved our bungalow with the hammocks. The hot springs were a bonus. Would definitely recommend this to others!

Cons: Beds and pillows were a little uncomfortable.

A great place to stay if you want to enjoy peace and quiet with lots of wildlife on your doorstep.

Pros: The staff were very helpful and friendly. It was very peaceful and lots of wildlife in the gardens. The food in the restaurant was very good with gluten free options.

Cons: Nothing to dislike. A couple of extra options ie yoghurt and bananas would have been appreciated for breakfast.

Relaxing stay in nature

Pros: Beautiful facilities, very friendly staff, great restaurant for breakfast and dinner. Loved the relaxing, natural environment away from the city - we saw a sloth on our first day on the property!!
