A true hidden gem in the heart of Liberia!

Pros: This charming hotel offers a perfect blend of historic convenience and peaceful tranquility. Locations is fantastic. Exceptional hospitality. Highly recommend it!

Cons: No hot water, but who needs it when the temperature outside is over 30 C lol

One of the very best places I stayed in Costa Rica

Pros: Everything. The location, the ambience and particularly Edwin, who runs the hotel. He was very friendly and kind and couldn't have been more helpful. I will recommend this place to everyone who wants to visit Liberia.

The most perfect stay in Liberia!

Pros: We certainly got lucky booking this great hotel for a night in Liberia. Perfect traditional Costa Rican hotel in a very central location in town - but what really made it for us was the most lovely family that own and run this hotel. Edwin couldn’t have been more hospitable and was fascinating to talk to. We were only sad we couldn’t stay longer.

Peaceful and relaxing. We will return at the end of our journey.

Pros: The green garden area is pretty and relaxing. The host, Edwin is an asset. He is friendly, helpful and interesting to talk to. The rooms are basic and charming. The internet worked well. The location is excellent for shops, transport, restaurants and bars. Easy local bus ride from the airport. We are going back.

Cons: There is nothing to not like. The shower is not hot water but we didn’t need it as the weather is hot and it is refreshing to cool off after exploring.

I would stay at this hotel again.

Pros: The clean courtyard a pleasant place to sit. Made to feel like special guests. The owner assisted us with any issues and full of knowledge on places to eat and visit in the town. The hotel located in a central area with easy access from the airport and restaurants.

Cons: Found everything enjoyable.

Pros: Very convenient location in the centre of Liberia - easy to walk from the bus terminal and lots of restaurants and cafés around. There's a beautiful courtyard to hang out and it was surprisingly quiet at night. Rooms are small but very clean. But what makes this place so special is his owner and his family: Edwin is such a wonderful host and really takes care of his guests. I only spend two nights together with my 5year old son at Hotel Liberia but Ewwin was so welcoming like I have stayed there for much longer.

Pros: The rooms at this hotel surround a lovely inner courtyard. Charming and helpful hotel owner, Edwin, prepared a tasty, traditional Costa Rican breakfast with coffee that we ate in the courtyard. Later we took an Uber to the airport for the first time. Edwin waited with us for the car to arrive and helped us to communicate with the driver. The rooms are simple and small but we had a very good experience.
