Jungle Beach Hotel Manuel Antonio

Was brief but cheerful

Pros: The Location was great, the breakfast was standard to what you get in all hotels in costa rica it was good but not a lot of options

Cons: The shower was not the best low water pressure and the temperature adjustment was not the best

A very good experience

Pros: A very nice place to stay overall and the owner is super nice

Cons: Monkeys can be a problem at night when they scream. Some clients can be very loud even at 6am(because they are awake they think everybody is) and the proximity does not help

Did the job!

Pros: Had a big room with a private bathroom. Staff were able to hold our luggage as we arrived very early.

Cons: Not a great location if you don’t have a car. No hot water in showers, through the day when it’s hot and humidity the luke warm shower isn’t bad, but at night when it cools down the luke warm shower wasn’t great. They offered a laundry service but this was very expensive!

Fantastic

Pros: Fantastic 2 night stay here. Room was great, AC worked well, comfy beds, great location 5 minutes walk to the beach, and 10 minutes to the national park entrance. All the staff were amazing and very welcoming. There is a small pool to cool down in, and the the spider, capuchin, and howler monkeys were everywhere. Highly recommend

Perfecto!

Pros: Great location, close to the national park, beaches, and various cafes, bars, and restaurants, and was quiet at night. Beds were comfortable, AC worked well, shower was decent. Was awoken by the sound of howler monkeys...magical!

Pros: Really nicely situated a walking distance to the beach. The restaurant is super nice also

Pros: Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast delicious. Good location close to beach and Manuel Antonio.

Cons: Lack of privacy in room with curtains not closing completely. In the end we managed but at first it felt really exposed as the room is on the pathway that most guests take.

Leo is a legend

Pros: Leo the receptionist was super friendly and helpful. Hotel is in a good location, clean and comfortable

Pros: The hotel backs right onto the forest which is great for wildlife spotting from the pool. The food was nice at the hotel and staff were really friendly. Having a drying rack in the room was a real bonus for drying wet beach clothes.

Cons: Only 2 coffee pods supplied on your first day, even if staying longer this is not restocked, also the WiFi was patchy.

A laid back and accessible hotel stay

Pros: The property was really well situated. It was an 11 minute walk or 3 minute drive to the the National Park. You could access the beach by literally crossing the road and walking for 2-3 minutes. The onsite restaurant whilst slightly pricier than the local sodas, proved its worth with its high quality meals-especially the meat dishes.

Cons: The only issue was that the WiFi was intermittent. Usually not an issue, but even the international Sims we had purchased picked up no signal whilst On site.
