Great Location, Hotel and Staff

Pros: Lovely room, big balcony. Staff were kind and friendly. Breakfast was very good. Location is good, only a 5 min walk to the shops and restaurants. Good size pool to cool off. Also very close to the entrance of Manual Antonio national park. Even closer to the public beach.

Memorable three day stay

Pros: The hotel is very well presented with an old worldly charm. The location is excellent as is only a short walk to the beach and to the Manuel Antonio Park. Since it is so close to the park, the hotel had daily visits from some of the local wildlife, especially the white faced monkeys. The staff were super friendly and very helpful which really made our stay enjoyable.

Cons: Maybe a few more breakfast options would have been nice but I really can’t complain since the breakfast we had was really good.

Pros: The location is great - perfect for the beaches and national park. A lot of restaurants in the vicinity. Arnoldo was very friendly and looked after us well. We booked the Manuel Antonio park tour available through the hotel and found it to be the best one we’ve done so far in Costa Rica. The room was a great size and the bed was one of the most comfortable I’ve ever slept on. The pool was also really nice and a great view point to see birds and monkeys around.

Cons: Wifi wasn’t great - sometimes it dropped - but it was fiiiine. Rooms are not super quiet as the walls are quite thin but it isn’t a huge problem. And the breakfast was somewhat average - better if you get down early or there’s not so much left.

Loved it! Made our time in Manuel Antonio worthwhile

The location was spectacular, easy to access the beach and national park.

Pros: Breakfast was delicious and staff were very accommodating. Location couldn't be beat. The pool was very nice.

Cons: The glass shower in the bathroom didn't block water from the faucet when in use and sprayed water all over the bathroom floor. Even with facing it right against the wall the floor was constantly wet. The nightly price per night was a bit high.

Great hotel, great location, poor restaurant/bar service

Pros: The overall hotel is very nice and clean. The location is superb, same walking distance to the beach as to the National Park.

Cons: Restaurant was incredibly understaffed which resulted in a cocktail taking 15 minutes to be ready. One single employee which had the function of bartender, cashieer, greeting customers at the entrance, taking orders, cleaning tables, practically a 2 or 3 person job done by just one. No amount of effort from her part would be enough to achieve normal standards of service.

Pros: The location is very good, very close to the beach and the entrance of Manuel Antonio park! It offers a pool, so very pleasant to spent time there. The stuff very friendly and the room was clean. Would recommend it if the goal is to visit Manuel Antonio.

Cons: Our room was noisy from inside by people talking or stuff cleaning and from the trucks passing by the street. We visited mid May and the area was very quiet. But it looks very touristy, so in a busy period I wouldn't stay in the neighborhood if not for visiting Manuel Antonio.

Lovely and close to park and beach - wonderful warm pool!

Cons: Lots of the cheaper restaurants were at other end of town but this location was nearer beach and park
