Igloo Beach Lodge

Very clean and basic hotel rooms close to the beach with a good restaurant and good staff

Pros: Very nice and attentive staff. restaurant + breakfast options surprisingly good! Pool is small but good. Short path to the beautiful beach.

Cons: After 1pm there is no shade option at the pool. The bed is a bit small for 2 people.

Lovely quirky place to stay, near the beautiful beach.

Pros: Insulated igloo, great idea and it was a cool place to stay. Very comfortable beds and the food here was excellent. Saw the howler minkeys in the trees at times which was good.

Cons: There was building work going on opposite which was noisy when you were in the pool. Not Igloo’s fault but a bit annoying. Could go on until end of summer 2026 I’m guessing.

Pros: Nice, cleam room, comfortable bed and good breakfast.

Cons: It was a biz noisy, but it wasn’t the mistake of the hotel, somewhere nearby there was a renovation.

Pros: Located near the beach, nice pool, the igloos az spaciousand clean.

Cons: They could have a social space with some glasses, silverware, microwave but besides that it was very nice!

Pros: Very friendly staff in unusual ambience. Close to the beach and Manuel Antonio Natl. Park. The rooms were modern style, great pool. Good breakfast.

Cons: It is very sun exposed.... no shade at all.

Pros: Great location right next to Espadilla Beach and just a 5-minute drive from Manuel Antonio National Park. The hotel has a trendy vibe, the room was comfortable and very clean, and there was easy access to the pool area right outside the room.

Cons: The power in our room went off a few times during our stay. It always came back within a few minutes, and the staff were super helpful and quick to fix it, but it was a bit of an inconvenience.

Perfect Igloo in the Sun!

Pros: It's so super cute. The rooms were clean, the pool is actually heated which is a luxury in Costa Rica, and the breakfast fruit bowl was awesome! They even let you take towels to the beach! Which fyi is 2 min walk away.

A little bit of innovation in the middle of outstanding natures and beauty

Pros: The lodge is very clean, comfortable and pretty. Hair dryer included and also ver techy with lights. The staff were very helpful and kind, this is too much appreciated

Cons: Nothing woth mentioning.
