Hotel Playa Espadilla & Gardens

A wonderful stay near Manuel Antonio National Park.

Pros: The location was excellent being within walking distance of the beach and Manuel Antonio National Park. The breakfast and evening meal were superb and they prepared a breakfast box for us on the day we went to the park at 6.50. The reception staff were absolutely great, organising our tours and transport with impressive efficiency and very good humour. They responded to WhatsApp very quickly. I would strongly recommend this hotel.

A beautiful experience.

Pros: Most beautiful pool and rooms in the area. Staff were fantastic, nothing was too much trouble. I would recommend staying here if you are in the area. Breakfast was delicious, choices were great. The wildlife in the hotel gardens was nearly as good as the National Park next door !

Wonderfull stay in a wonderfull hotel

Pros: Such a friendly staff. Great, clean and cosy rooms. Very nice pool area and beautiful garden. Great setting for the breakfast and restaurant. Breakfast is very good. Location is perfect. Very close to the beach and shops and restaurants. And very close to the entrance of the Manuel Antonio park. The Playa Espadilla beach near the hotel is a very beautiful and clean beach. With good prices for chairs and parasols. Sunset at the beach is breathtaking.

We loved our stay here.

Pros: The hotel and gardens were immaculate and our room was very comfortable. The breakfast was served in the sister hotel which is a very short walk over the road. This, again could not be faulted. There was a great choice for the main course and then fruit, cereals and pastries to choose from. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The position of the hotel was just a short walk from the beach and Manuel Antonio National Park. There was plenty of wildlife to see here too. We saw agoutis, many iguanas, squirrel and capuchin monkeys and toucans.

An amazing stay — highly recommended!

Pros: The location is perfect - not far from the beach or Manuel Antonio National Park. The staff are really lovely and helpful and are good at providing information from the check in to the check out they were very accomodating. The room itself was lovely and clean and had everything that you needed. Loved the hotels grounds and the pool. Thank you for a lovely stay - Pura vida.

Stay here, it's the best!

Pros: Everything was exceptional -the staff, service, food, facilities, the best hotel experience I've ever had! I special shout out to Kyle at the reception who was so helpful and caring and also the taxi driver who works for the hotel, he gave us a private tour of Costa Rica on our long drive to the airport. Thank you for everything!

Beautiful hotel

Pros: Fantastic hotel. 100 yards to the beach, yet peaceful, beautiful pool, helpful staff. Great restaurant, our room was very nice with seating outside. 500 yards to Manuel Antonio National Park so no worries about parking. Highly recommended

Excellent and right next to the national parque.

Pros: Reception staff were great and went beyond their duties. Breakfast was excellent. Everything you needed was in the room, even two umbrellas which we used one night.
