Switzerland 🇨🇭

Pros: Beautiful view with a perfect sunset. Very friendly receptionist who informed us about a meteor shower and monkeys despite language barriers. Contrary to many reviews, no 4x4 is needed — we arrived easily with a regular rental car, even at night and in bad weather. Excellent stay, would book again. Rooms are a bit noisy, which is normal in Costa Rica.

Cons: Some dust under the bed.

Great hotel in the monteverde forest.

Pros: Incredible view of the sunset over the forest. The room was very quiet and we felt very close to nature.

Cons: Given that the hotel is in the forest there are quite a few insects flying around, also the access to the hotel was tricky, the road is slightly bumpy.

Pros: Stunning view from our room with brilliant sunset. The beds were top.

Cons: The road to the lodge is special in all ways and not just a gravel road.... 4x4 is recommended. Better so, we just had a normal Hyundai Sedan with front wheel drive and not really a lot clearance above ground. It was more than a challenge not damaging the car and get up the hill. With rain and wet roads, no chance. However, it was fun for me.

Pros: The Lodge is beautiful and the view is a dream. All was clean, the Beds are super cozy and big. We would to come back for the next triop in Monte Verde.

Pros: Breakfast was nice, the staff was very kind, the room and the bathroom are big, trees around the hotel sound nice when the wind blows.

Cons: The road probably would be difficult for some vehicles in rainy season.

Goed hotel maar we gaan er niet meer terug.

Pros: Mooi uitzicht en ruime kamer ingericht met voornamelijk donker gevernist hout en idem meubels. Het lijkt me ooit een prachtige accommodatie te zijn geweest waar nu met een lik witte verf (niet altijd binnen de lijntjes) wat opsmukwerk is gebeurd. Parkeerplaatsen op het terrein.

Cons: Personeel was niet erg vriendelijk of geïnteresseerd. Ontbijt was karig. De weg naar het hotel vraagt een 4x4 voertuig.

Pros: Ihana rauhallinen paikka, josta oli kiva katsella auringonlaskua. Kaunis puutarha jossa näkyi lintuja. Huone oli siisti ja sänky mukava, suihku oli lämmin. Aamupala oli monipuolinen ja illallinen hyvä viineineen ja jälkiruokineen. Henkilökunta oli avuliasta ja ystävällistä. Voisin mennä uudestaan.
