Great stay!

Pros: We loved our cabin and our stay overall. Fairly quiet, no mosquitoes and strong shower. Breakfast was homemade, with different options to choose from. The owner is very friendly, and we loved the cat and the funny dog. They have free parking and an extra service for laundry that was very useful.

Cons: It gets cold in Monteverde after dark, so that’s why the cabin does not have AC, which is totally fine.

Nice hotel close to the rainforests

Pros: Nice hotel, very close to rainforests, coffee plantations and also to city center - 5-10 mins by car. The rooms are really large and have all you need. It is usually very quiet and the garden is well-maintained. The owner has a cat and a dog but they are very friendly.

Cons: The breakfast was ok, but we expected a little bit better based on the reviews.

Wonderful experience, thank you!

Pros: Best beds we had in Costa Rica. The cabins are spacious and the bedding is extremely comfy. We could sleep wth the sounds of the birds and experience nature front hand with armadillos walking in front of our cabin and colibríes flying in the garden. Great location and good service. Wonderful experience.

Pros: Kleineres Hotel in der Nähe von Monteverde (fußläufig in ca. 20 min erreichbar). Sehr schöner Garten mit vielen Vögeln. Wir hatten sehr einfache Zimmer, nur Fenster zum Flur. Nur Ablage für einen Koffer, alles andere steht auf dem Boden. Blick vom Bett auf eine Holzwand. Guter Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge.

Cons: Frühstück war eher spärlich (drei Gerichte zur Auswahl).

Goede locatie, behulpzame eigenaresse

Pros: De locatie is goed op een paar minuten lopen van de beste Italiaan van het dorp en alle parken op korte rijafstand. De eigenaresse is superleuk, goedlachs en zeer behulpzaam. Elke dag zaten er veel mooi vogels voorin de boom met voederbakken. Het ontbijt was simpel maar niet verkeerd. De kamer was best ruim en schoon.

Cons: Het is een redelijk drukke weg, en zoals overal in Costa Rica dun enkelglas, dus uitslapen zit er niet in tenzij je oordopjes hebt. 1 van onze bedden was heel hard maar gelukkig had ze nog een topmatras ergens vandaan kunnen halen.

Pros: Wir konnten das gebuchte Zimmer gegen Aufpreis in eines der Chalet Nr. 14 wechseln. Dieses war super toll. Mit einem riesiges Bett, heissem Wasser, 3 Seiten Fenster und einem Balkon in den schönen Garten. Das Personal war sehr freundlich. Waren 2 Nächte da. Das Frühstück war reichlich, der Kaffe etwas dünn. Ach ja, die Lichtschalter hinter den Kopf kissen haben wir auch erst am 2.Tag gefunden.

Cons: Die Buchung und das Zimmer welches uns gezeigt wurde sah leider überhaupt nicht so aus wie auf Booking.com gezeigt. Darum haben wir mit dem Chalet getauscht. Die Zufahrt zum Hotel ist schlecht markiert. Sind 2x daran vorbei gefahren. Überhaubt der erste Blick auf das Hotel ist nicht Einladend. Schade, man könnte den Platz vor der Rezeption ansprechender gestalten. Dies nur als Anregung.

Pros: La naturaleza que rodea este bonito hotel. Puedes ver muchas aves solo con asomarte a la ventana. Las habitaciones son muy grandes, cómodas y están impecables. Muy acogedoras y cálidas, da gusto despertarse en un sitio así. El personal fue muy amable y cercano. El desayuno exquisito y abundante. Laura es una gran afitriona, muchas gracias por todo!

Cons: No hubo nada que no nos gustase. Todo estuvo genial!
