Pros: The view from the breakfast area was beautiful and filled with light. Joan and Ronald and the rest of the staff were just lovely and the breakfast was more than delicious. We really felt at home during our stay in Santa Elena.

Beautiful hotel close to the cloud forest

Pros: We loved everything about this hotel, from the ethos behind it - to support local children through education, the location, the layout of the rooms and the common spaces. The creators and managers were all present and were super friendly, accomodating and also helped out around the hotel. The breakfasts were delicious and generous. Free tea and coffee in the common room was greatly appreciated. The views were amazing and the decor was a calming use of natural materials and colours. Really appreciated the laundry service

Very enjoyable stay. What made it special was the friendly and kind staff

Pros: Staff was friendly and very accommodating. I love the modern Scandinavian design of the building.

Cons: The shower leaked water onto the rest of the bathroom- I think it was a design issue that you had a glass door when a glass wall would have been better.

Wonderful stay in Santa Elena

Pros: The hotel was in the centre of Santa Elena and very convenient. The decor is minimalist and very tasteful. Our bedroom was so comfortable with a very large double bed. The breakfast was delicious too and great to have an area to come back to sit in anytime with free tea and coffee. The staff are super friendly and a particular shout out to Rachell who organised tours for us and a couple of taxis too.
