Hotel Boutique CasAguacate close to Airport

Pros: The hosts were great. Very helpful and very accommodating! Also very clean rooms and a secure location!

Would absolutely stay here again. It was so comfortable and had amenities that you don’t get everywhere in the country.

Pros: It was so quiet. We loved the proximity to airport also.

Cons: In the Tucan room the air conditioner is broken. It gets very loud every few minutes.

If you need to stay near the airport (15 minutes away), consider this option.

Pros: We chose this place for its location near the airport, since I had a very early outgoing flight. The hostess was very accommodating once we got there; the hotel itself is in a gated community, very secure. There is a charge ($8) for the breakfast; it was a good value and there were many choices.

Pros: Excellent service.

Comfortable, convenient, and affordable—a great combination for accommodations close to SJO airport.

Pros: The accommodations at CasAguacate were perfect for us. We enjoyed how walkable the area is, and slept well after exploring. We didn’t stay long enough to use the kitchen, but we could see that it was well equipped for preparing meals (or reheating leftovers). Loreana and Juan Carlos are lovely hosts. We appreciated their local recommendations, as well as the deluxe airport transportation they provide. I highly recommend CasAguacate if you’re in the area.
