I Know more than 40 countries and never had so good experience like in Terrazas !!

Pros: Breakfast was wonderful. Carolina is a first class chef and prepares meals like any other hotel’s people can do! Forget old hotels around San Jose, you have to experience Terrazas!!! The hotel Terrazas is a familiar place and Mrs Cecilia de Arias, Mr Mário Árias and their son Roberto and daugther Irene are always ready to help you to get a better experience from Costa Rica. I will be Back for sure!! Tv,Wifi,room cleaning, golf field around, a lot of things really makes you so happy in staying there.

Cons: Nothing, everything was perfect!

Very nice hotel close to the airport, very clean!!

Pros: Close to the airport. We got an upgrade to a bigger room, very comfy bed, super clean. The owner is a very nice lady, she gave us advice on restaurants in the area and we got some chocolates from her. Breakfast was good

AMAZING

Pros: The best hotel I haver ever stayed in. Simply AMAZING. The hospitality is unmatched. I highly recommend it. Beautiful view, clean, complete breakfast, incredible hospitality. Completely surpassed my expectations. Ms. Cecilia is a joy. I would love to go back and stay at this hotel again!

Nice stopover, close to SJO

Pros: Good location, close to the airport and car rentals (Alamo for us). Very nice and super friendly reception. Spacious room and good breakfast. Safe parking inside fence. Can easily be recommended.

Cons: A bit of noise from the traffic, but no real problem for us.

Pros: Nice staff, available as we arrived from the airport by car to enter the parking area, comfortable spacious room, not far to walk to convenient restaurants, pretty view outside at the breakfast table.

Perfect first stop for first time visit to Costa Rica

Pros: We had a delayed flight and they waited for us to arrive which was late. Very welcoming and great service. The breakfast was outstanding and the view for this was so peaceful and beautiful.

Cons: One of the pillows smelt a little musty which felt like it hadn’t been cleaned, but probably just an old pillow because the other were absolutely fine.

Excellent hotel in San José, close to the airport

Pros: We slept here after a late arrival on the airport. We were pleasantly welcomed. The room was very spacious with a good bathroom. Supermarket was close by and open late. Car could be parked on the property.
