Great stay in Escazu

Pros: We always stay here when in San Jose. It’s probably our tenth time. Very clean, nice location, excellent breakfast, very friendly staff!

Relaxed, easy and comfortable!

Pros: Perfect entry to Costa Rica. Room was big and comfortable after a long flight.

Cons: Pool is cold and shaded but lovely to look at.

Great introduction to Costa Rica.

Pros: Breakfast was very good. Fruit, Gallo pinto, coffee. They also recommended a local taxi driver who was able to take us to all the places we wanted to go to, including an impromptu Mirador tour in the hills above Escazú.

Pros: The accommodation was in a convenient location for spending the first night after landing in San José. Your car can be parked right next to the room behind a closed gate, which feels secure. The room was spacious and clean, the shower worked well, and the breakfast in the morning was delicious. There’s a lot of greenery around the cabins, which creates a lovely atmosphere. The staff was very friendly.

A great alternative for San José stays!

Pros: The staff was excellent, friendly and helpful. A proper, well maintained, old school Costa Rican inn. Nice to be close to San José for work, but in a green space. Excellent value for money.

Cons: The lighting is a bit harsh/early days led blue. An easy remedy with different bulbs and dimmer switches.

Pros: Quiet location with lovely trees and plants and we even saw a toucan in a tree by the pool. Comfortable bed and good hot shower. Easy to walk into Escazu old town (though dining options there are basic). Uber worked well in this location.

Cons: Reception staff not welcoming and seemed rather disinterested in guests. Partly made up for by lovely smiling lady that served breakfast.

Pros: Clean, comfortable, very friendly staff, it’s our home away from home. Adela is like family for us, she makes the best breakfast in Costa Rica!

Pros: The staff were friendly and the rooms were well equipped with a good shower, a netflix enabled tv and comfy beds. The breakfast was good and whilst we didn't use the pool as we weren't there for long, it was a nice area.

Cons: Whilst this didn't bother us, it was a hilly walk to most of the restaurants so this would be worth considering if you don't have a car.
