Pros: Good basic accomodation which is great value. Very clean. Large comfortable bed. Really nice, freshly cooked breakfast. Staff were welcoming and freindly. The area is run down but then from what we saw not much different to most other parts of San Jose. Close to Gran Caribe bus station. Walls are a bit thin so probably great not for light sleepers.

Cons: For that price, no complaints at all.

Friendly place to arrive

Pros: The rooms are dated but the beds were comfy. It is the ladies working there that are the heart and soul of the place. They were very kind and attentive. Great free breakfast with a choice of three: American, continental or omelette with veggies and ham. It is walking distance from the Tica bus terminal but we got an Uber and that worked out great.

Cons: Rough and busy neighborhood.

Pros: Nice rooms, good staff, big beds with nice bathroom and good WiFi. Actually extended our stay, and came back 2 more times.

Cons: Area is a little dodgy at night. Aircon would be perfect.

Pros: nice place, very close to the bus stations . The family who owns the place were very nice and helpful and they had a very good breakfast.

Cons: San Jose, very dirty and full of homeless. would not recommend leaving the hotel after dark.

Good for a night or two if transiting San Jose

Pros: The property is well situated near to many of the bus stations. The room was quiet and the staff very helpful. Breakfast was good with a couple of choices along with coffee, tea, juice on tap! Easy to locate

Cons: The room did not have an outside view window. One window looked over the laundry room and the other over a hall way.

Pros: Great place to rest for a night and freshen up to continue your trip. Would love to come back and highly recommend. The staff is very nice, the room is quiet, the bathroom is clean. Great value for money.
