Choose this hotel to stay at, you won’t be disappointed

Pros: Stunning hotel, beautifully decorated. Bedroom very comfortable bed exceptionally comfortable with beautiful soft sheets. Staff friendly and helpful. Food in the restaurant fantastic, will definitely be back.

Pros: Complimentary doctor’s visit to your room! My 4.5 year old one was very sick and this complimentary doctor assessment saved the trip! Otherwise the staff was kids friendly, very nice restaurant

Pros: We weren't actually able to make our reservation due to cancellation madness at Schiphol airport because of snow. However the staff handled it absolutely brilliantly, even changing our booking to one instead of two days so we didn't have to pay for half. Amid all the travel misery, that was a really kind thing to do and as a result we'll definitely be back to stay in the hotel properly another time. Thank you!

Excellent. One of a kind stay in a beautiful old colonial building that's been designed well

Pros: Stunning property that's been designed in a way that's keeping for the building. Bed was really comfortable and the shower lovely and hot with good pressure. They welcomed us with a lovely fruit plate and the fridge had biscuits and drinks you could have at no extra cost. Lovely little terrace to get some sun. The restuarant and bar are beautiful and the food was excellent.

Cons: Gym could have been better equipped

Nice traditional hotel with hlepful staff.

Pros: Lovely tradititonal hotel. Clean, tidy, helpful staff. The restarant and food were great (although we only had breakfast). Given the price I think we maybe expected a little more polish and better facilities, but overall we really enjoyed our stay. A solid 25min from the cooler/trendier areas in San Jose like Barrio Escalante.
