Pros: Owner knows the area well and can point you to nice places without crowds. Large swimming pool, location is at the edge of town and therefore quiet but still walking distance to everything

Reasonable price and up to expectations

Pros: Reasonable price Room and hotel are fashionable Facilities are enough for most people Clean and quiet The owners are friendly and helpful

Cons: No hair dryer. Location is 10-15 minutes from the beach May not be suitable for single female tourist as you have to walk a short distance in dark to the hotel. Hotel fee must be paid in cash and reception is only available for limited hours.

Best hotel in Tamarindo

Pros: I loved my stay at Tama Lodge, we stayed in several hotels during our visit to Costa Rica, but this hotel took all our love, the attention was great, plus the price is very low for being in Tamarindo. The room was very comfortable and nice, if we return to Costa Rica, we will definitely return to Tama Lodge.

Pros: Der grosse Pool, die Veranda, der Gastgeber Christian (Seniorchef spricht auch Schweizerdeutsch), laden zum Verweilen ein. Zimmer sind klein gehalten, die Zeit verbringt man aber eh draussen. In die Stadt sind es ca. 15min. Fußweg.

Cons: Fehlendes Duschmittel, wir gehen davon aus, dass es vergessen wurde.

Nice Value for a stay in Tamarindo

Pros: Christian was very friendly, the pool and community feel was nice. The location is nice, a little bit outside of town so it’s quiet but a short walk to any restaurant and the beach.

Cons: The mattress had a weird shape and was pretty hard. The cleaning could be improved.

Pros: Uns hat es in der Tama Lodge sehr gut gefallen. Das Gelände ist sehr schön gestaltet, die Zimmer sind neu und sauber, ein Highlight ist der Pool! Der Besitzer war sehr freundlich und hilfreich. Auf jeden Fall eine Empfehlung!
