Pros: Great location in the nature, excellent food. Very juve people. Expect to shower with cold water but this is part of the deal. It did not bother us

Amazing place to stay

Pros: Gorgeous place to stay. You are really in the rainforest. The food is excellent, both the included breakfast and the dinners in the lodge were highlights of our trip. Easy access to lots of things to do that are off the beaten track - we went to El Bosque de Tio Victor for hiking and to a nearby coffee farm.

Cons: The hot water in the showers was unreliable, but it didn't matter so much since it was warm. You are in the rainforest, so expect it to be damp.

Pros: If you are true nature lover it is the place to be at. You stay in the middle of the forest. Take a night stroll with a headlamp. You may find interesting night creatures.

Cons: - accesability without a car almost impossible. An hour extra driving time to get to tour starting location - for 3 adults cabins with two beds are to small

Pros: Its an amazing experience! The room was nice and the views and experience great

Cons: The dinner portions are not as big, right the opposite to breakfast which was abundant. The location is great in the middle of the forest however, you do need a car, lack of transportation, luckily for us we rented a car before we went there

Perfect balance of luxury and eco tourism amongst the rainforest

Pros: The rooms are charming, hammock on the balcony is lush. The sound of frogs, insects and birds is incredible, and the thunder rolling across the hills. Very helpful / friendly staff. Good hiking trails from the hotel. Nice breakfast selection, good coffee. The pool is basic but nice with a great view.
