Great stay. Would recommend to others

Pros: Lovely boutique property with spacious comfortable rooms

Cons: Our room was by the road so it was a little noisy

Relaxing, and good location

Pros: Nicely laid out, our room was spacious and comfortable

Cons: Restaurant closed earlier than we expected (and advertised), maybe due to low season. Not a big problem as there are plenty of restaurants in town, but it would have been helpful to know.

Pros: The food in the restaurant was fantastic. The staff were brilliant in particular Anthony who answered all questions. It was very close to Treetopia which was great and also the monteverde ecological sanctuary was very beautiful nearby. The scenery was beautiful and there was an intimate feeling to the place and each room was very private.

Cons: The lift wasn't working during our stay. Journey from SJO airport at night during bad weather was difficult with the roads but definitely worth it.

A nice place for a couple of nights

Pros: It was exceptionally well furnished throughout the whole site, the bedrooms, restaurant, bar, and reception. The gardens were also very nicely planted. Staff were very helpful. Breakfast food was tbe best we have had so far in Costa Rica and the evening meal was also very tasty. Staff very helpful with local knowledge Lovely cocktail is you went online and followed them

Cons: No swimming pool but we knew that before booking. The restaurant was too small for the hotel so could not accommodate everyone for either breakfast or evening meal. We had to eat in the bar which was fine but there were only 3 tables available so if you hadn't booked the restaurant and came to eat at peak time you would have to go elsewhere. Our room was not air conditioned however it was cool enough at night to sleep, we also didn't have any chairs in our room or private seating. Would I recommend it. Yes I would

Pros: The hotel is perfectly located. You can walk to the centre or you can shortly drive to all attractions. We liked the design of the hotel although the rooms are very simple. Breakfast was served with big choice of options, there is a buffet on the side as well.

Cons: The room was a bit wet, but we were travelling in the wet season. Other thing to mention we didn’t like were the prices in the bar, e.g. espresso for 4USD is quite a lot I think.
