We went there for the wildlife and not disappointed

Pros: The boat ride in Mario the guide very friendly and knowledgeable The swimming pool Close to the beach

Cons: Quite basic accommodation but clean and tidy

Pros: Nice Lodge in the rainforest, waking up by the sound of howler monkeys. Good tours, excellent food.

Great location and gardens

Pros: Nice pools and gardens. Easy access to the beach and a pleasant walk among the trail or the beach to Tortoguero village

Cons: Unfortunately the butter being served in individual packs in the restaurant was rancid!

Pros: Absolutely amazing unique place. Fun sitting out on the veranda watching the wildlife (we saw Parrots, Racoons, Frogs toads, spiders). Good variety of food and incredible early morning safari and turtle watching tours.

Amazing nature experience between jungle amd sea

Pros: Exceptional location! Did appreciate the full board proposition and do recommend to everyone to take this option when going to Tortugero. Very organised with taking guests to visit the surroundings and respectfull of nature and local community.

Cons: The communication with the hotel to organize my arrival was not very eficient but at the end it worked out even better than I excepted!

Lovely place but very remote.

Pros: We thought the property was close to tortuguero village but it was a boat ride away. We were offered a bed and breakfast option when in reality there were no other options available without travelling to the village which costs 3000 to 4000 colon per person each way. This needs to transparent in all adverts for the property.

Nice stay in the rain forest

Pros: Very nice resort in the rain forest. Ver well maintained outdoor area with beautiful garden.

Cons: It is located 2km north of Tortuguero village. So you have to take taxi for 10 dollars (4-5000 CRC) or walk along the beach (nice walk). Breakfast option slightly limited.

Fantastic

Pros: I loved the Laguna lodge experience - it was just brilliant. The guides and tours on the river ways were exceptional, the hotel was great, the food was plentiful, and the staff were super friendly. One of the few hotels that has direct access to the beach.
