Great stay. Would highly recommend.

Pros: In the centre of the village. Excellent wildlife guides organised by the property. Great views from the deck.

Cons: Not much choice at breakfast.

Casa Marbella for a great visit

Pros: Location, patio, breakfasts, nice and clean. Very comfortable stay. Coffee and breakfasts were from 7-10 so very relaxed. Yamelet and the Breakfast cook were wonderful.

Cons: Other guests should be made aware that the floors do transfer sound. Not Marbellas fault - we didn't want stairs but should have asked for an upstairs room as many tours start before 6 am.

Pros: Loved it! A very beautiful place, helpful staff and great breakfast. Clean towels etc every day

Cons: Airconditioning didnt always work perfect but with a bit of patience, waiting a couple of minutes it did work again and the staff was very helpful

Brilliant friendly hotel with everything you need for any enjoyable stay

Pros: Brilliant location, really friendly staff, tours arranged with the hotel were really good and value for money they also arranged transfer to La Fortuna for us which made it so easy for us.

Cons: Nothing, couldn't fault anything.

Pros: We got very nice and spacious room with lagoon view on the second floor, it was amazing. The hotel helped us to arrange all trips and transports, everything worked for 100%.

Lovely hotel by the river

Pros: One of the best accommodations we stayed at in Costa Rica. Beautiful river view, helpful staff, clean and comfortable rooms.

Cons: The showers have an electric shower head, for anyone who'd rather avoid this.

Nice stay close to nature

Pros: Great location with common areas by the river. There is a fridge for guests. We took the early morning boat tour followed by a guided walk in the national park. We saw a lot of wildlife, especially on the river, and leatned much about Tortuguero. We really enjoyed our stay!
