Great place! My third stay – and counting :)

Pros: This is my third stay and now my go-to hotel in all of San Jose! Everything is just right: the breakfast is wonderful, the staff are incredibly helpful and lovely, the rooms are cute, and the location is impeccable. When I experienced car issues (twice) this time around, the staff was absolutely wonderful – not only in ensuring I could stay a little longer, but also in supporting the mechanics that they had everything needed to fix the issue. I love this place!

Pretty hotel in a safe neighborhood close to restaurants

Pros: It is a beautiful property in a safe neighborhood. The receptionist is very kind and super helpful! The rooms in the main building are renovated and very nicely decorated. Very good breakfast! Overall, I would stay again (in the main building).

Cons: - The bungalow room is worn out and needs an upgrade. - The guests in the room next door were very loud (laughing, smashing the door) b/w 1-2am and I couldnt sleep - the night rules should be better imposed by the hotel staff to ensure everyone can rest peacefully at night.

Absolutely beautiful place to stay.

Pros: Breakfast was a good basic breakfast. I loved the building and our room. Also loved being able to leave our car parked while we explored.

Cons: There was a time we had no water in our room. Not sure what happened.

Great Vibe

Pros: Great location, character building in a great area. Very good value.

Friendly hotel in calm neighbourhood

Pros: Staff were extremely friendly and helpful, especially David. Garden area very quiet to relax in and a nice place to have a coffee. Neighbourhood felt safe with restaurants nearby.

Cons: Bunk bed not very comfortable (rubbery mattress), converted hostel so some areas of room felt a little worn (windows and door locks etc.)

Beautiful, stylish place , tranquil atmosphere in a fabulous location

Pros: It was very stylish , felt like you were staying in an authentic home . The decor , tiles were lovely . Great location in a very trendy neighbourhood.

Cons: One of our rooms was right by reception so you could hear people coming in and out .

Pros: Nice hotel with a very beautiful garden, helpful staff. Nicely decorated room, acceptable breakfast

Cons: There was no door or even curtain between the room and toilet / shower. So if you lay on the bed you can see your partner / friend washing and doing everything else. Really a bit strange.

Stunning Traditional Finca, tastefully designed. Superb location with a typical CR welcome 🇨🇷

Pros: Stunning traditional Finca, beautiful interiors, gardens and rooms. Alejandro was super friendly and helpful. Location is a foodies paradise, lots of cool places to eat. Loved our sadly short stay here. Would a 100% recommend 👌🏽

Cons: The shower was a cinderella shower 🚿 too hot then too cold but I think thats a general challenge in CR.

Very Stylish hotel in a smart location

Pros: Loved this stylish and comfortable place . The area is also brilliant, safe with lots of hip bars and restaurants. Friendly staff always ready to help and chat.

Cons: The bathrooms could do with a few towel hangers.

Cosy place in the best locarion

Pros: Friendly staff, nice garden to enjoy breakfast or a beer, good breakfast (pancakes, fruit, toast...)
