Pros: Amazing place to meet fellow travelers. I extended my stay because I liked it so much. The staff is really friendly and helpfull, the atmosphere is great and you can spot animals without leaving the place. everything you need (amazing beach, supermarket, laundry surf shop) is within 2 minutes walking. I've been traveling for over a year in total, and this is definitly one of the best hostels I've been to!

Cons: I whished I could have stayed longer.

Pros: Loved my stay here! The staff were super friendly and always happy to help. The vibe was really chill and perfect for meeting other travelers. What I loved the most were the common areas super cozy and great for hanging out or just relaxing. Everything was clean and well taken care of. Totally recommend!

Pros: Good place to chill, nice pool on the backyard with view to the forest and lots of birds, we saw tucana! Also has a lovely cat. Good bed, place to park inside and big kitchen with 3 refrigerators.

Cons: Staff should have more informations about the tours and best spots around to make reccomendations. Better garbage separation in the kitchen and maybe a chiar or place to open the luggage in the rooms would be nice.

Great location

Pros: Very social hostel. Two well equipped kitchens with a lot of fridge space - the pool was also great and so was the location. If you are coming here to surf, there is a well priced surfboard rental shop near the property, walking distance from a surfing beach.

Cons: There is no AC in the rooms - just a fan. However i think this is reflected in the price. Overall it wasn’t too bad temperature wise.

Great and affordable place!

Pros: I’ve stayed at the hostel for almost a month, and it was absolutely fantastic! The rooms are clean, cozy, and well-maintained – I highly recommend booking one with AC and a private bathroom for maximum comfort. The shared area is a real highlight, with a well-equipped kitchen that makes cooking easy, a pool to cool off in, hammocks to relax in, and a serene atmosphere surrounded by lush greenery. It’s just a short walk (a few minutes) to the beach, making it a perfect location for surfers or anyone looking to enjoy the ocean. The staff and the owner were incredibly friendly and welcoming, always available to help or share local tips. The Wi-Fi was quite good, but if you’re working remotely, having mobile data as a backup is a good idea. Overall, I loved my time at Pura Vida Mini Hotel and would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommended!

Pros: I loooove it! The personal its so nice, the place its absolutely beautiful, like a little oasis in the jungle! The vibes are really relax and the pool its perfect after the beach!! Im staying longer that I planned hehhee thanks you guys!!!
