Cabin near volcano

Pros: Cabin was very spacious and comfortable. Location was so convenient to see the volcano and close to the hotsprings

Cons: The pool was closed, and the location of it inconvenient. Needed to drive from cabin to hotel/pool area

Pros: Great room, two comfortable double beds. Fab location - easy drive to La Fortuna town, thermal springs etc. Amazing view of the volcano from the room (when the fog cleared!). 3x options for breakfast, all delicious.

Stunning views of Arenal volcano

Pros: Wonderful view of Arenal volcano, Good location, on the edge of La Fortuna but within reach of activities.

Cons: No WiFi in the room- they did try to sort it out but then needed a new router. We were offered a room change for our last night but we didn’t as it was a hassle to move.

Lovely wooden lined rooms overlooking Arenal Volcano.

Pros: Beautiful location away from La Fortuna over looking Arenal Volcano. Tasty breakfasts and walking distance to a couple of Soda’s and short taxi ride into La Fortuna. Can also walk to Parque Ecológico Volcán Arenal 25mins walk away.

Incredible Volcano View

Pros: The view from the window is directly onto the volcano—it's absolutely breathtaking! The window itself is huge, making the spectacular landscape the centerpiece of the room. Furthermore, the room is spacious and comfortable. A truly unforgettable visual experience.

Amazing view and very friendly staff

Pros: Even that we were middle in the jungle we didn’t have even one insect. One of the staff showed us a flog and a snake in the garden 😇 very helpful and good. View unbelievable

Cons: The AC was broken. They could put net on the windows.

Comfortable stay with most gorgeous volcano view

Pros: We (unfortunately) spent only one night at the Arenal La Roca Lodge, but would do it again and for more nights next time! The room as well as the bathroom were spacious, had all comforts (working A/C, nice big mirror, desk to work on, coffee and coffee machine) and the most gorgeous view on the volcano. The staff was very friendly and we felt welcome from the start. The restaurant was ok, but if you have time, there are probably more options in the town.

A peaceful solo escape with an unforgettable volcano view ✨️

Pros: I stayed here alone, and it turned out to be one of the most soothing experiences I’ve ever had. The view of the volcano is absolutely breathtaking — especially at sunrise, when everything feels still and the world seems to pause for a moment. The staff were kind and welcoming, making me feel comfortable even though I was traveling solo. My room was quiet, clean, and opened up to nature — I spent hours just watching the clouds move around the volcano. It was the perfect place to slow down, breathe, and reconnect with myself. Highly recommended for anyone who needs a peaceful escape. 🌋✨

Pros: Great hotel with very confy bedrooms and pillows. Great views of the Arenal. Hope the fog allow you to see the Arenal volcano.

Cons: The swimming pool was empty.
