Pros: Hotel staff was very friendly, polite and flexilble. Our room was clean.

Cons: We felt the room was somehow narrow for 2 people and 2 suitcases.

Very friendly staff and an oasis away from the crazy downtown.

Pros: The breakfast gazebo, large pool, close to town center.

Beautiful setting but still great location

Pros: The location, off the busy main road but close to restaurants and supermarket. The hotel sits in beautiful grounds and breakfast is set in an amazing space.

Cons: No faults.

Perfect stay in La Fortuna

Pros: Clean, comfortable Wonderful setting around a lake Nice breakfast area Got its own wildlife Nice staff

Pros: Oh my goodness!!! An absolutely exceptional hotel, if you have the chance to stay please do. Fantastic hosts, spotlessly clean, fabulous breakfast and the grounds are wonderful. We ate breakfast with hummingbirds 4 feet away, toucans in the trees and a morning wake up call from the turkey vultures. Loved every thing about Hotel Colores. Thank you for the welcome to Costa Rica. Pura Vida 💚💚💚

Motel on outskirts of Fortuna

Pros: Interesting place on outskirts of towm beside a river. 10 minute walk to fortuna downtown. Hotel has a large swimming pool set up for racing and an open air gym. Quiet location with lage natural pond

Cons: Hotel gave us restaurant menu and had a bar but the only time the bar and restaurant was open were for breakfast. Only 2 outside chairs available for whole hotel

Pros: Perfect location out of the madness but walkable, felt really safe, rooms and bathroom were spacious and spotless. Really enjoyed staying here, staff were super friendly.

A very relaxing stay, would recommend

Pros: The breakfast here was delicious! A lovely, relaxing location, an easy 15-minute walk into town (safe at night). The staff were lovely and the AC was also very appreciated. The wifi was also good. Would definitely recommend.

Cons: It would have been nice to have a communal chill-out area.

Loved our stay at Hotel Colores and wonderful experience in La Fortuna

Pros: It is a well hidden facility but once we found it and settled in we loved it! The owners were very sweet and helpful. It was a clean facility and anything we needed was available within minutes. About a 10 minute walk for great restaurants. There are always little dogs hanging around the facility and one actually walked with us out for dinner, waited for us and made sure we followed him back home.... amazing! A lovely breakfast with choices is served in a covered patio on the pond with ducks and birds welcoming in the day! We loved our experience at this Hotel! Would recommend it highly!

Cons: It rained several times while we were there but after all it is the rain forest area so that was to be expected.
