Senda Monteverde Hotel Member of the Cayuga Collection

Pros: Amazing location with a fantastic view over the rainforest, amazing staff and amazing food! Everything was just perfect!

Everything works well and rooms are lovely

Pros: Room was beautiful and very thoughtfully designed and equipped, bed was extremely comfortable. The hotel was very well equipped to deal with rain emergencies (umbrellas, golf carts, gym boots and the hotel even offered to dry our boots when they got drenched). Booking tours and activities was largely very smooth and the guides (Luis and Jessica) were great and very knowledgable and passionate about the forest (tours quite expensive, but as I would expect of booking through the hotel, and one issue with concierge booking us onto a different/more expensive tour option but we caught it). There were quite a few interesting animals walking around the property. Centre of town and nice restaurants walking distance (though return up a very steep hill - the price of being a bit secluded!). Breakfast was good and quick.

Cons: The hotel is reasonably secluded but does not have a remote feel- not necessarily an issue but something to be aware of when choosing. It also has a slightly “resort-y” feel (including daily schedule of activities), very minor niggle and entirely a matter of taste but it took away a bit from the atmosphere. We did not have hot water in the shower (it did not go above tepid), which wasn’t much of an issue for us (so we did not report it to reception - it may well have been fixable!). The bar menu is lovely and the staff incredibly nice, but the bar is not a very nice place to sit. We had dinner in the restaurant one day - it has a cosy space which was unfortunately fully reserved (it was the day we arrived), so we ate in the larger hall, which again is not a very nice space. Food is fine.

Très bel endroit, calme, nature :)

Pros: Très bel endroit niché au cœur du monteverde. Spécial mention au personnel, extrêmement réactif sur whatsap et très agréable ! Le restaurant et petit déjeuner étaient très bien. Plein de coatis et de magnifiques oiseaux au cœur de l’hôtel :)

Cons: Il manquait une piscine mais bonne nouvelle celle ci était en construction :) cela permettra d’avoir un coin où se poser en dehors de l’espace restaurant/accueil. Je recommande les villlas en hauteur pour plus de luminosité et une terrasse peut être !

Wunderschöne Anlage mit großartigem Service!

Pros: Die Bungalows liegen in einer traumhaften Anlage. Das Frühstück war sehr gut, das Abendessen herausragend. Wir haben viele Tiere in der Anlage gesehen. Leider hatten wir keine Zeit den hauseigenen Trail zu laufen. Es gibt nachmittags kostenlose Kurse, Cocktails mixen, Armbänder knüpfen etc.

Pros: La atención del personal y la comida deliciosa del restaurante.

Cons: Faltan pantuflas en las habitaciones, que podrían venir bien ya que es un área en la que baja la temperatura.

Desconexión

Pros: El entorno es espectacular. Asomado al balcón de la casita puedes ver animales salvajes. Vistas espectaculares. El personal super atento y muy amable, siempre pendientes. Si os tenéis que dar un masaje en el Spa, preguntad por Daniel. Me dió el mejor masaje descontracturante de mi vida

Für Kurzaufenthalt OK

Pros: Sehr freundliches/zuvorkommendes Personal. Leckeres Frühstück. Sehr viele Tiere auf dem Hotelgrundstück gesehen, sowie über das Hotel der gebuchte Night-Walk war genial.

Cons: Zimmereinrichtung eher veraltet und Geschmacksache. Das Nachtessen war eher teuer und lediglich okeee, doch eine sehr gute Alternative ist um die Ecke.

Fantastische lokatie bij bezoek Monteverde

Pros: Heerlijke kamer met lekkere badkamer. Regelen van alle excursies was voortreffelijk!

Boa opção pertinho do centrinho

Pros: Funcionários muito prestativos e simpáticos, café da manhã à la carte gostoso, linda vista do quarto 28, onde ficamos. Boa localização, apenas 1km do centrinho. O quarto é lindo e espaçoso, com uma varanda agradável de onde vimos um lindo por-do-sol. Cama muito confortável e um chuveiro maravilhoso!

Cons: o quarto não tem aquecimento, fomos no verão e faz bastante frio à noite. Imagino no inverno! Sentimos falta de ter uma jacuzzi aquecida, pelo nível do hotel e pelo tamanho do jardim, seria uma possibilidade que acrescentaria na qualidade da estadia.

Gorgeous, peaceful stay in the cloud forest a short walk from town with abundant wildlife

Pros: Our room was spectacular! We had a view of the sunset every night and went to sleep with the screen door open to peaceful sounds of the forest. We saw lots of wildlife on the property including coatis, agoutis, and many birds including a Crested Guan and a Montezuma Oropendolo in the tree right by our porch! The restaurant was delicious and all of the hotel staff were amazing. They helped us book a ziplining tour and a birdwatching tour with a private guide where we saw the famous quetzal. It was pure heaven.

Cons: Nothing it was amazing!
