Mountain views with city luxury
Pros: Fantastic location with stunning views and great local wildlife on the property
Cons: Breakfast at USD 25 is certainly not worth it; a cafe across the street does it for less than USD 8 per head.

Resort with Natural Cloud Forest on the property with naturalist services available on the property
Pros: We were located at Building 3 and it was very convenient for easy access to dinning for breakfast and reception area. However, located at one higher elevation building with same accommodations would have been with a nicer view of the mountains and ocean. Shuttle services were excellent and prompt.
Cons: A building near the breakfast and reception area just one level higher than Building 3 would have been with a nicer view of the mountains and ocean.

Worth the trip. Lovely place
Pros: The hotel is in a beautiful location, one of a kind. Worth the trip. You are surrounded by the nature, beautiful swimming pool. You can do activities directly in the hotel such the zip line. Whilst there are better zip lines around we enjoyed doing it with just the three of us instead of large groups like the others.
Cons: It is missing a ceiling light in the room and some kind of table + chair to work a bit. No kettle in the room but there is a very nice coffee machine. Food at the restaurant could be better. (Taco fish was poor at best)Outside the hotel there is an amazing place where to eat, thomas and Thiago. Half the price, double the flavour.

Great location, great customer service, but rooms need updating!
Pros: Great setting, great customer service and Pablo was the guide of our holiday in Costa Rica!
Cons: Rooms could do with being updated and some towel heaters in the rooms to dry wet clothes. The hotel was incredibly expensive to eat - $20 for a pizza, which seems to be the norm in Costa Rica these days

It’s a really nice resort on massive grounds, located close to town. We really enjoyed it.
Pros: I was a bit apprehensive about this resort after reading some negative reviews, but I was very pleasantly surprised! The rooms are huge. They are an older style so more basic but still nice. Just make sure you don’t leave any food or soft drinks as small ants appear quickly (and disappeared equally quickly if you remove the cause). Our introduction to the resort was excellent, explaining why the lights are low, that the hot water takes 30 minutes to regenerate (which we never had an issue with as a family of 4) and the activity options. The grounds are huge and we saw lots of agoutis and cotis. Loved the pool and going for an early morning walk, probably should have done their guided tour. It’s also a fairly short (though hilly) walk into town. Definitely recommend asking for a room close to the reception so you don’t need to bother with the shuttle.

Amazing views
Pros: Fantastic views, room was fantastic. Good shuttle service to various parts of the hotel. Pool area was great and the bar had good cocktails and happy hour.
Cons: The WiFi signal was poor in our room however the staff didn’t seem to be able to do anything about it.
