Great location and room and really friendly staff.

Pros: Wuaira on the front desk was super helpful and friendly. The room was great and the location too as it’s half way between St Eleana and Monteverde so a 10 min walk in either direction gives you a wide choice of places to eat. Coffee and tea in the room and very clean.

Wonderfull stay at cozy Monteverde hotel. Sweet hosts

Pros: The building of Miztli hotel has a cozy atmosphere. Especially on the cold Monteverde days. The breakfast area has a great view and was nice to hang out with my family in the afternoons to play games and enjoy the beautifull sunset. Breakfast options are great and host has been flexable and wonderfull for us. There is also a seperate kitchen for guests with fridge and microwave, so you don't have to go to a resataurant. A little store is around the corner and big supermarket a 15 minute walk away.

Cons: If you walk, it has a steep part, but just 60 meters and no problem with a car.

Pros: Super friendly staff and great breakfast. Very forthcoming and helpful. The place has everything you need and looks even a little better than in the pictures.

Cons: If you don't have a car there is not many dinner options nearby (unless you wanna climb back up the steep hill to the hotel).

Cosy Small Lodge at Monteverde

Pros: Good breakfast made fresh. Nice staff. Very nice view of the ocean from the dining room. Cosy local hotel not a chain hotel. Good value.

Cons: A little noisy if the room is under the dining room The bathroom light is linked to the hallway, so basically the room light is turned on when one person uses the bathroom in the middle of the night.

Lovely place to stay in Monteverde

Pros: The lodge is in a very quiet position and great location, close to shops, restaurants and a short walk to town centre.. The hosts are incredible friendly and helpful. The breakfast was wonderful, the view in the breakfast room amazing. The room and bathroom were spacious. Beds very comfy.
