Great staff, great location.

Pros: Super location minutes walk from the centre of town with off street parking. The staff were friendly and helpful, very nice breakfasts cooked to order.

Cons: The walls were very thin if you area light sleeper take earplugs!

Good value for money hotel very close to the center of Santa Elena

Pros: Conveniently located hotel a couple of minutes away from the center of Santa Elena. Bus from Santa Elena to Monteverde or vice versa stops right in front of the hotel too. Rooms have a good size and are clean. Breakfast was a typical Costa Rican one but good.

Pros: The place was cute. It worth the money. The family who runs the hotel is helpful and nice. There are 2 types of breakfasts that you can choose. One typical costa rican and one continental. The room was tidied every day. We were allowed to use kitchen facilities. The location is central, the city center is 1 street away. The bus to Cloud forest stops in front of the hotel.

Best hotel in Santa Elena

Pros: Hotel Madonna is a fantastic hotel, with a perfect location only 3-5 minutes walk from everything in Santa Elena. It is nice and quiet - no noise from bars and traffic. Beautiful room with lovely large beds, bedside lamps on bedside tables. - and then there is hot water! They have some of the most friendly and accommodating staff we have met on our trip around Costa Rica. Really good wi-fi.
