Located in central San José, just 300 metres from La Sabana Park, Hotel Suites Cristina offers its guests fully appointed accommodations with free WiFi access and daily cleaning services. Convenient for us

Pros: Big room, unfortunately no balcony or sitting area in front.

Cons: Breakfast was not enough as some food options were not refilled two of the mornings (no coffee, no pinto, no fruits left).

Pros: Quiet location, handily placed between the airport and city centre. Spacious apartment. Very nice breakfast buffet. Good Italian restaurant shared with next door hotel.

Cons: A little worn in places, but nothing to dislike.

Pros: The breakfast is excellent. There are many different options available. There were no problems with the late check-in. The staff is very friendly and helpful, they lent us an adapter for EU plugs, allowed us to park our car in front of the hotel, etc.

The city's little hidden gem

Pros: This property was like finding a little hidden gem amongst the city's hustle and bustle. The photos do not give it justice. We were a family of 2 adults and a 5 year old and the apartment was perfect for us for a overnite stay. Basic but clean and welcoming. Comfortable beds, breakfast wasn't a big choice but enough, eggs, cereal toast, croissants fruit! Tea coffee juice, served wwith a friendly smile! Free parking.

Cons: Nothing not too like, especially for what you pay!

Pros: Very nice hotel to stay a night at San José when you arrive in or leave Costa Rica. Clean and spacious rooms. Nice breakfast arrea at the pool with lots of choice. Friendly staff.

Cons: No elevator, but rooms are on groundfloor or 1st floor.

Best price to quality ratio in a safe area of San Jose

Pros: A very nicely located hotel, in a safe area at a walkable distance from the heart of the city (20-25 min walk along a very lively and safe avenue). Rooms are large, and they have additional kitchenette. Breakfast is very good, espresso from the machine is close to excellent. Staff is attentive and efficient. Everything is clean and tidy. Even if apparently not a luxury place, the price to quality ratio is excellent.

Cons: The pool is de facto useless, due to its position, size and poor cleaning.

Perfect clean apartment.

Pros: Very clean apartment. Perfect for overnight stay. Beds very comfortable and quiet nights. Stayed on a couple of occasions whilst travelling around Costa Rica. Good choice of local Costa Rican food, plus bread/pastries at breakfast and plenty of coffee, different selection of teas. Enjoyed sitting by the pool eating breakfast. Loved the location. Felt very safe and the adjoining Italian Restaurant served delicious food. They kindly looked after my suitcase for a few days too.
