Auténtico Hotel

Pros: We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The location is excellent and made it very easy to explore the area. The buffet breakfast was outstanding, with a great variety of fresh and delicious options. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help with anything we needed. We also really appreciated that we were able to leave our luggage at the hotel after check-out, which made our departure much more convenient. We would definitely recommend this hotel and would gladly stay here again!

Excellent, friendly hotel with fabulous food in San Jose

Pros: The staff without doubt were the kindest most supportive people you could meet. In reception, the restaurant and the room cleaning people were welcoming and could not do enough to make our stay a good one.

Welcoming hôtel! 20min ride from airport

Pros: Friendly and accomodating staff, very big room (a bit noisy as on the street side) and clean. Very comfortable beds and nice shower. Breakfast was excellent and copious (fresh fruits, eggs, gallo pinto, cake...). Water and ice dispenser on each floor. We didn't try the swimming pool but looked good.

Cons: Everything was fine, a mini-bar or fridge in the room would have been great. Toilet and shower aren't separated...

Pros: Good Breakfast. Not much Vegan. Rice Beans and Fried Bananas Fruit was good.

Cons: No plant milk. And glasses some were not very clean.

First night in Costa Rica

Pros: We booked this hotel for our first night in Costa Rica, straight from the airport. Room was spacious and clean. We left the next morning so did not visit the city. Decent breakfast.

Cons: Our room was next to the street, so we did have some noise.

Pros: Stayed an extra night, so review already provided - essentially great staff, friendly and helpful. Good facilities, great breakfast and food was lovely throughout

Cons: I had no hot water so once I told reception they came to fix it and it was great, except there was a leak which led to the condensation getting really bad in the bathroom. Maintenance initially didn't think it was an issue until they came to check it & realised it needed some work doing. I was checking out at lunchtime so they were going to fix it after that

Pros: Great staff, very friendly and helpful with queries that I had. Good facilities, great breakfast and food was lovely throughout

Cons: Nothing much. It was a bit further from the centre but that was fine and only took 20mins to walk. Not sure about the area and I didn't risk staying out after dark.

Pros: The staff was incredibly nice and the rooms are huge and have everything one needs. Really rate the xylophone table.

Great hotel, clean and well maintained

Pros: Really nice hotel about a 40 minute walk from the centre of San Jose (or 10 minutes on the bus), so it's in a quiet neighbourhood. The staff were very friendly, and the hotel very clean and provided complimentary water in the rooms and had water coolers on each floor. The breakfast was really good too with a lot of choices and good coffee. The pool area was very nice too, though I didn't have time to use it. I like that the restaurant area and hotel itself has an indoor/outdoor vibe! The area around the hotel is quiet, but with some really great restaurants.

Cons: Little far to walk into the city centre (especially in the heat), but only a short ride on the bus, so wasn't too bad.
