A good option for a short stay with friendly service

Pros: The room was clean and comfortable, the staff were friendly, and the location was quite central. Facilities were in the process of being updated. Perfect for a short stay.

Cons: The ongoing updates meant some areas felt a bit dated. Water was taking a long time to heat up in the shower, low water pressure.

Comfortable and convenient first night stop over in San Jose

Pros: Comfortable and large room. Quiet. Transport to and from airport provided.

Cons: Breakfast was ok - very small selection.

Nice stay, friendly staff and very clean rooms.

Pros: Very welcoming staff, super clean, comfortable bed.

Cons: I haven’t found a lot of places to eat around, but their restaurant was very nice. So not a big issue I only stayed one night. And getting a Taxi around is always possible.

Great hotel for an overnight in San Hose

Pros: Staff was exceptional, so helpful. We had dinner at the hotel and it was beautifully plated and delicious. The hotel is very pretty inside and well maintained.

Cons: This hotel is advertised as being downtown, which is why we decided to stay here, but it's really not. The location is fine, but you are not downtown.

Last night in Costa Rica

Pros: Staff were very friendly and helpful. Restaurant was good. Breakfast was ok but could have a better selection and quality. There is a car park at the back where we parked for free.

Cons: Rooms were ok, but no real character. Breakfast was fine but could have better options.

Nice Hotel

Pros: This hotel was used by the travel company that we had signed up with for exploring Costa Rica, so we had stayed at the beginning and the end of the trip. The rooms were fairly big with 2 double beds and they were clean. Staff were generally helpful. The breakfasts were mostly the same each day with Costa Rican food and lots of fresh fruit. The restaurant was available for lunch and dinner as well, and the food was good with fairly big portions.

Cons: The disadvantage was that it was a little far from the city centre (about 20-25 minute-walk).

Pros: Good breakfast. Restaurant meal was good. Good base for exploring San Jose.

Perfect for our purpose

Pros: Secure and clean and convenient. The receptionist was extremely helpful and supportive in a difficult situation we found ourselves in and we appreciated that.

Pros: Very hospitable stuff, good breakfast served by a very nice lady. It was perfect just for a one night booking

Pros: It was located next to the main park and art museum, and had excellent scenic views of the surrounding mountains. The restaurant was very good and the staff there were particularly helpful.

Cons: Like the rest of San Jose, the traffic around the hotel is very busy and not amenable to visiting the local area on foot. However, it was much better location-wise compared to the more central areas of San Jose.
